Please note that Hotel Laguna is a 3-story complex and there is no elevator.
We have a 3% charge for Amex & Diners Cards and 1.5% for all other cards.
Please be advised that during May/June, there are some renovations in the Hastings St and riverside during the week days and there may be some disturbance. Management will do all possible to minimize this issue.
Fresh towels are available at a small cost and these services can be booked at reception.

Beach Towels are also available for hire during your stay. Please contact reception for more information.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Very disappointing would never stay again or recommend
Pros:

The location was close to shops, restaurants and the beach.
The room had been recently renovated so it was freshly painted with modern furniture. However the aircon was very old and nosy. Only blow cold air in one direct and the room was stuffy as a result.

Cons:

The owners were unwelcoming, unfriendly and disinterested. They hide behind the very high counter at reception and did their best to ignore guests.
There was a $5 charge per pool/beach towel and an additional change to have your towels refreshed. Our room was never serviced during our stay. Also the studio room we had was very small with a tiny balcony.

It was a perfect getaway!
Pros:

Tony was a great host. Laguna is the perfect location. Highly recommend. We were visiting from Canada. We plan on coming to Australia every year and we will definitely be back to this hotel!

Relaxing location with great shops in close proximity.
Pros:

We requested ground floor due to my husband's age and they did not even quibble. They made it happen. Some places will not promise. That means we can't go. No lift, no go.

Cons:

The area around our ground floor balcony was not clean. Leaves, dust. The outdoor furniture needs felt or rubber on the feet as they badly screeched.

Good but not fantastic. Sometimes the little things make all the difference
Pros:

location was good, room was clean but I thought it would be more comfortable and updated for the area

Cons:

the air conditioner wasn't working properly, basic amenities. Said something about plunger coffee but nothing to put in the plunger only very basic tea and coffee. Didn't have any extras.

Rented appartment not hotel with some more effeorts to do...........
Pros:

The pool and the location.

Cons:

First I think it should not be called hotel. It is misleading. I actually accepted the higher price of the room because I thought there would be a hotel service and discovered that it was not the case. It is a rented appartment. I don't remember that been clear in the hotel advertising/booking form.
Moreover I called before to check that we could have 2 separate beds and be told ok ; that I should put it in my booking. I put it in my booking (booking.com)and discovered a king bed when I arrived. I have asked questions through booking .com. Never got a response but they received it as the question was attached to another message they sent.
The table legs were full of mould; really not a good cleaning standard.
The kitchen did not have a cofffee machine or a cooking top. There is no guide for the air conditionning system that was not working and never got repaired during the stay.
No pool towel is supplied ?????
It is way to expensive for what is delivered; the hotel just benefit from the location close to hastings street ....
