Please note that Hotel Laguna is a 3-story complex and there is no elevator.
We have a 3% charge for Amex & Diners Cards and 1.5% for all other cards.
Please be advised that during May/June, there are some renovations in the Hastings St and riverside during the week days and there may be some disturbance. Management will do all possible to minimize this issue.
Fresh towels are available at a small cost and these services can be booked at reception.

Spacious modern apartment but be aware of some drawbacks
Pros:

We had a very nice top floor apartment with balconies overlooking the pool on one side and the Noosa waterway on the other. The apartment was well equipped and very spacious. The pool area is sunny and well sheltered although the water is on the cool side. The hotel is very convenient for the shops on Hastings, the Noosa Spit and the beach. A 20 minute walk to the national park too. It's just above the Noosa Heads ferry dock too.

Cons:

1. There is no elevator/lift in the building so it's a struggle to get large suitcases to the top (3rd) floor. The entrance to the stairs is from the parkade which is rather dark and unwelcoming.
2. The apartment has no safe so you need to give valuables to the hotel reception for safekeeping in their safe.
3. We found three roach-like insects in the apartment and told the manager who gave us an insect spray and didn't see any more after using it. Maybe they flew in the patio doors. We kept the doors shut after that-there are no bug screens on the doors.
4. We came away from our stay at Noosa Heads with dozens of very itchy insect bites on our arms and legs. We are not sure where we got them and never saw any insects flying or crawling on our skin. There are reportedly sandflies at Noosa but we never saw any.
Having said that, we enjoyed our stay at Noosa Heads. It's a truly beautiful place, with stunning coastal scenery, many great restaurants, a fabulous calm white sand beach, an excellent array of shops, and an all-round perfect vacation destination. But insect repellent is recommended...

Would like to have had a designated parking space. I managed to get parked on arrival and didn’t move it until I left as wasn’t sure I’d get parked again so took Ubers

We loved our time at Noosa and Hotel Laguna. We will definitely come again.
Pros:

The location on Hastings Street was fantastic. Everything at your fingertips. The river view room was great. We spent lot of time out on the balcony watching the comings and goings on the river.

Cons:

The studio room was lovely but not very spacious.

Overall for the price we paid we were a little disappointed
Pros:

Kitchen facilities were plentiful and large fridge

Cons:

The advertising on the room I purchased showed a balcony view of the pool area and also the river view. Upon arrival the balcony view was a tin roof looking at Hastings Street. No lift was difficult in unloading being on 3rd floor. No towel change in the room without a fee. Downlights in lounge and bedroom were flickering.

Our rooms weren’t serviced at all and we were there for 4 nights. WiFi was also a little unreliable as well as the AC, but apart from that it was great.

Value for money was another plus as most accom in Hastings Street is very pricey
Pros:

I loved the location as it is right in Hastings St but at the quiet end. The room exceeded my expectations. Very fresh beach feel with lovely views over the river.
Tony was an excellent host and accommodated our early check in and late check out. The pool and BBQ area was lovely with comfy loungers by the pool. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again🤗

All in all we had a lovely time at Hotel Laguana
Pros:

Hotel Laguana is well located very convenient to Hastings Street, the beach and the river. The pool area is small but protected from the wind and passing visitors. The rooms are fresh and well appointed.

Cons:

Can be noisy at night as it is very close to the restaurant's and bars. The toaster was useless for hot cross buns and it tripped the electrical breaker twice?? Maybe some quality appliances might help

Great location but didn't feel value for money
Pros:

Great location. Nice pool area.

Cons:

Bed not comfy. Couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom. Staff not friendly on arrival. Could have better room facilities, pool towels etc.
