What do we like about it? Difficult to answer, probably nothing - the greeting was lovely from reception person.
Bluestone Motor Inn – Review
Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our stay. The room was dark and dingy, not particularly clean, and there was a noticeable stain on the quilt bedding. There was also an unpleasant drainage smell in the room.
Outside, there was seating shared between three accommodation pods, but it was so dirty and dusty that it wasn’t somewhere you would want to sit and relax. The swimming pool, which was advertised, was absolutely filthy and unusable.
The restaurant/café was also closed, despite being advertised as available when booking. We were offered a shuttle to a local bar, but after a long day of driving, the last thing you want is to have to go elsewhere to find a meal. You simply want to eat at your accommodation and relax.
The gates are locked at 7 pm, with a code provided to enter and exit if needed. Although this may be reassuring from a security point of view, it’s worth being aware of.
Overall, this was a disappointing experience, with cleanliness and facilities falling well below expectations. We wouldn’t stay here again and, based on our experience, wouldn’t recommend visiting Tennant Creek.

The property security, and located on the outskirts of town. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant had a good menu and dining was well managed despite there being a full tourist coach in also.

It was filthy, the staff argued when I showed the dirty bedspread and said they only get washed a week and people don’t sleep under then anyway. We were offered another room, two stunk and all had stains on the floor, one looked like a big blood stain, she said that wont come out. I will never stay here again

Nice and Quiet room. Spacious and well appointed. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent.
Toilet leaked a little bit, but Manager was great. Offered to change room but we were happy staying. She knew nothing about it. Let the manager know about such thing people.
