Nothing
Property was old and run down else could hear the people upstairs the entire time
A very conveniently located hotel just across the road from the lake shore with a good range of facilities, not all of which we had time to make use of. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. The site layout is a little complicated and you certainly need the map they give you at reception, but once you grasp where you room is it's quite straightforward really.
Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of food. We were later in the mornings and it was quiet as so many people set off early on the day trip to Milford Sound - we found setting off later gave a more peaceful experience there.
This is an excellent base for a stay in Te Anua for the various trips and experiences you can have there. Useful to note is that if you go on the RealNZ Doubtful Sound overnight cruise (which starts across the road from the hotel) they are quite happy for you to leave your car parked there for the duration of that trip.
Staff very helpful and accommodating.

Rooms were comfortable and felt fresh with good bathrooms. The breakfasts provided a good array of food and were refreshed frequently.
No privacy curtains in the villas meant we kept the blinds down. The restaurant was expensive.
Well spacious room with lake view
Soft comfortable bed & pillow
All is good
The property is close to town, the bar and restaurant are nice and the bed was comfortable.
This was the worst nights sleep of any hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. There was some event the night I stayed and the music and bass were pounding so loudly in my room that was removed from the main hotel building, until midnight, that I couldn’t fall asleep for an hour after it ended. The TVs are also very out of date, and while I didn’t come to New Zealand to watch tv, with how expensive the room is, I expected much more. You basically had your choice of 10 channels.
The location was excellent.
Breakfast was sub-standard.
房間寬敞 浴室很大 餐廳有不錯水平
Lady on reception was excellent. She explained everything and was so helpful. We were upgraded to a lake view room.
Ideally located.
Breakfast buffet was very good, plenty of choice.
Swimming pool had leaves and insects on it so was not very inviting. It didn’t seem very heated either.
No lift but they had someone to take bags to room. We didn’t use this facility as there appeared to be a backlog of cases.
We used the bar in the evening and the staff were friendly.
Overall, I would stay here again.
We had dinner there one night and it was exceptional quality. Breakfast was also very good and the views having both meals was lovely. Loved the laundry facilities and the hotel was in a great position for walks and shopping and cafes.
The bathroom was very modern but the beds/mattresses were a little dippy.
Location, clean, breakfast was good
A bit outdated. No water supplied
Location
All good
We liked that it was close to the main Street and on the lake.
The room was clean but very over priced for what it was. It was just a basic room. The breakfast was not “topped” up hence we had no fruit and there was nothing gluten free so not coeliac friendly.
