Four star hotel. Not even a 20p biscuit on the room. Small point but actually after a long journey to be met by not even a biscuit is so poor. Even basic places can provide it.
The location is very good however signage for the hotel could be better, we rang reception and eventually found where we could park at the back of the hotel (as we had a blue badge).
Beds were comfortable.
Liked the idea of no bottled water as you could fill up kettle or bottles from water dispensers close to lifts.
Restaurant and bar staff were lovely, however could pay a bit more attention to customers as nobody came back to ask was everything okay (we had to wave to one of the waiters)
And my husband wanted dessert one evening but decided not to as we waited easily 25 minutes after finishing our main course and nobody came over.
The carpet in our room not only was filthy but was also puckered in the middle of the walking area and I felt was a trip hazard.
House keeping staff were a joke, didn't wash any cups, left towels short and we had to ask reception 3 times for extra toilet roll (not something you like to ask for)
Reception staff were hit and miss, some were helpful others not bothered, on checkout we weren't even asked did we enjoy our stay, very poor

The carpet in my room, 513, was extremely stained and dirty, there was also thick dust on the corners of skirting boards.
The rest of the room was very clean including the bathroom.
I think the carpet really needs replacing.
The lighting wasn't very controllable so either all on or all off.

Staff were efficient but a bit abrupt, no niceties no robes or water in our room, mattress too soft. Cheap tea bags & toilet paper, no tissues
It has a mall next to it. Staff was very helpful, it was clean.

It’s definitely gone downhill since my last stay in 2021. The carpet was buckled & worn. The toilet smelt. The sink had not been cleaned sufficiently and the hair of whoever had shaved was still scattered on the sink. The mattress was obscenely soft and hollow feeling. I woke up with a back ache. I would never stay here again in the future
Location . Perfect. Around the corner from the venue I wanted and the car park. Parking was free. Staff were nice and accomodating. Because of tv. They gave me a lovely free breakfast.
Tv didn't work. They couldn't get anyone in to fix it until I left.. Staff have me a complimentary breakfast which was lovely. Room was lovely but pricey. Without the breakfast but including parking it was about £20 dearer than I am used to paying in Bristol.
Wir haben das Hotel aufgrund der Lage ausgesucht. Man ist sofort mitten in Bristol und hat auch gleich viele Möglichkeiten Essen zu gehen. Das Zimmer selbst war erst vor Kurzem renoviert worden und der Teppich sah noch sehr neu aus.
Das Service-Personal könnte freundlicher sein (ausgenommen die netten Damen vom Zimmerservice) und unser Bad hätte mal wieder eine Renovierung gebraucht. Die Handtuchstange war teilweise lose und die Hebel für die Dusche auch schon in die Jahre gekommen.
Leider gab es keinen Kühlschrank im Zimmer.
Mit einem Zimmer zur Straßenseite war es teilweise unangenehm laut. Ich empfehle ein Zimmer nach hinten raus zu nehmen.
Generell würden wir das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen und auch nicht wieder hier übernachten.
I chose this hotel over others as it included car parking in a prime city location. Upon arrival you park your car in the multistory adjacent to the hotel which either leads to the shops or directly through to the hotel. We stayed during the recent heatwave so the fact the room had aircon was another factor as was the onsite restaurant. I always like the option of a restaurant because if I've spent a day sightseeing I can head back to the hotel and i don't have to make a decision about where to eat. The food at the restaurant was of a high standard and we thoroughly enjoyed all three courses. We enjoyed a great night's sleep as the room was quiet and the mattress was on the right side of firm and the pillows were just the right thickness. Overall we were really pleased with our choice and would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
The hotel was fully booked so breakfast was very busy although the staff did their best to manage it the upstairs could have been used to take away some of the demand for seating.

Koffie op de kamer en waterdispenser op de gang.
Bediening in het restaurant. Één keer kamer niet gepoetst. Volgens site ligt het hotel op 10 minuten stappen van het station, maar is 25 minuten te voet. Je moet zeker een half uur stappen voor de bezienswaardigheden. Hotel ligt aan een drukke baan. Ik had een rustige kamer gevraagd en heb die ook gekregen.
