My stay was amazing here , we come overnight for somewhere to stay in Sheffield and it was amazing
Pros:

The property was very clean and hygienic
All the staff were lovely and it was very easy and accessible

breakfast staff

Cons:

the hotel smelt and had an overall dirty fell to it, guy on reception when we checked in obvioulsy used English as a second or maybe even thrid language.
You dont expect the hilton to feel like your staying in a 3rd world country, Lesson learned.

Extremely clean and comfortable!

Great stay at a fabulous location in historical downtown Bramall Lane!

The proximity to Sheffield United 1889 was a huge bonus as it meant I was just 2 minutes from where I needed to be!

Excellent staff who went above and beyond
Pros:

After a bad experience with an apartment on booking.com that turned out to be a non-existent scam we booked a room at the Hilton very late, on a laptop, sitting in the car. We arrived 10 minutes after booking and check in was smooth and helpful. There is a car park on site that you pay for separately at a machine in the foyer, which is understandable for a city centre location and benefits people using more eco friendly transport. The best thing was the staff, who are all genuinely lovely, friendly, helpful people, who clearly have an excellent team ethos. After going out for dinner we realised that the duvet and pillows were feather, which my partner is very allergic to. Quite late at night we phoned reception and someone brought synthetic bedding to our room within minutes. Thank you so much for a non-sneezy night! The bar staff were also very kind. Hilton hotels are not really our thing but we would stay here again because of the excellent staff. Recommend Church - Temple of Fun restaurant.

Cons:

Bedroom and bar area decor is not to my taste. Football stadium next door so likely to be busy on match days.
