バリ島にはこれまで10回以上訪れていますが、ここは私にとってただのホテルではなく、“帰る場所”です。
チェックインの瞬間、日本語対応スタッフのTedyさん、Istiさん、Sumeiさん、そしてラウンジスタッフの皆さんが「お帰りなさい」と迎えてくださるその一言で、一気に心がほどけて、ここに戻ってきたんだと実感します。
母子2人での滞在でも不安は一切なく、いつも温かく見守っていただき、まるで家族のように安心して過ごすことができました。ファミリーにも本当におすすめできるホテルです。
美しく整えられたガーデン、清潔で心地よい空間、美味しいお食事。どれも素晴らしいですが、このホテルの一番の魅力は間違いなく“人”だと思います。
長年通っていますが、変わらない優しさと心遣いに、毎回心を動かされています。
いつも温かく迎えてくださり、本当にありがとうございます。
また「ただいま」と言える日を、心から楽しみにしています。

Staff, pools, breakfast and situation of the resort was good.
Pros:

The location of Padma was one of the reasons I booked here to take my 4 Granddaughters aged 9,11,16 &21 as it’s closed to the beach and shopping area.
On arrival at Padma we were greeted by lovely staff but when I actually went to book in it all when rapidly down hill then.
We flew from Melbourne leaving at 9am, after being told by Garuda our flight was at 5.30am, but whilst on route the airport it changed to 9am.
Anyway I digress.

We finally get to the check-in counter to be told that there were no two rooms with connection in doors that I requested from my Travel Agent.
Not only that but for some reason they had the rooms booked in my 16 and 21 year olds names!! Then to be told there was no two rooms with a connecting door available and that I should ring my TA that it was their fault. Because they inform Expedia what is needed by the travellers.
When hearing this I absolutely refused them that I would ring my TA and insisted that I want the situation rectified as I’d paid a very large sum of money for 5 of us to stay from 30 March until 9 April.
The man at the desk kept on insisting it was my TA who made the mistake. Who by the way I’ve been using for close to 20 years and in that time hasn’t made one mistake with my travel bookings. He kept apologising that nothing could be done.

I wanted my 3 Granddaughters aged 9,11 & 21 in one room as they are sisters and my 16yr old one and myself in another room via a connecting door. He kept saying sorry we haven’t got any, but we have two rooms on separate floors.
Well I then saw red and lost my patience insisting on seeing the manager.

He came out and was explained by his employee what was going on. Well we went through the whole situation again, this time with me threatening to insist on asking for. refund and myself and the girls going elsewhere. Meanwhile the girls had been very good even though they had been getting restless after about 45 minutes at this stage.

They finally found 2 rooms with a connecting door but the only problem was they had. King size bed in one room and 2 singles in the other in which they could put another slightly smaller single bed into.
I was hot tired and over everything that I just relented and said yes.

The only thing they wouldn’t do was changed the names on the reservations to my name as my TA made the mistake on the original booking to my 16 year old name.
So I said well if that’s the case maybe I’ll let her pay the bills at the end because she has no job as she still in school so let’s see what happens. The manager just looked blank.
I was over all this and for my families sake I just accepted it and we were shown or rooms.
The staff were pleasant enough all over the resort which was nice.
The breakfasts were very nice each morning.
There was once young guy who asked us if we would give him a review on his performance etc. But because we were out and about all day and got back to our room it took use 3 or four days to do it. Well he was very pleasant getting our coffees and kept asking each day had we done his reviews? We kept explaining why and he said that’s ok same again for the next couple of days. It did become a bit annoying as we just wanted to enjoy a nice family breakfast.

The last time he came to us and asked again we politely said yes we had done it the night before. So he said thank you and we never saw him again. Which was a bit cheeky of him, but I guess we understood.

In summary I wouldn’t stay here again because of it being horrible overpriced.

The best service by Nova
Pros:

My stay here was made so comfortable.Nova from the club room, he was sensational. He may check in and ease and on my second last day insured I got the extras that were included in my room/returning customer.
Any problems I had were fixed with ease even though my housecleaning kept talking to me in Bahasa, Google translate works a treat.

Padma Prioritizes Profit Over Customer Experience
Pros:

I am disappointed with Padma Resort. For a five-star resort, I expected a much higher standard of service and resolution.

We flew all the way from Los Angeles for our first time in Bali to celebrate our ten-year wedding anniversary with our toddler. After an 18-hour flight, we arrived tired, hungry, and with a screaming child. All I wanted was to check in, get settled, and find food quickly.

At check-in, we were offered a promotional food and beverage credit, but it was not explained that this was a one-time offer only available at that moment. I assumed it could be purchased at any time during our stay. When I tried to purchase it a few days later, I was told I couldn’t. I asked if an exception could be made given that this limitation had not been clearly communicated, but management (Ms Ling) refused.

Ms Ling also told me that making an exception would take away from other travelers. It’s unclear how honoring a one-time exception in this situation would negatively impact other guests.

For a five-star resort that prides itself on customer service, this level of inflexibility is very disappointing. In just four days, we spent over 8,000,000 IDR on food and beverage, and 17,000,000 IDR for a five-night stay—so honoring the promotion would still have resulted in significant revenue for the resort. Instead, it felt like the resort was more focused on making an extra 1,000,000 IDR—a relatively small amount for the property, but a meaningful amount for a traveler—than on providing quality customer service.

This situation could have easily been avoided with clearer communication at check-in. The resort should ensure staff are properly trained and retrained so that important policies like this are consistently and clearly explained to guests from the start.

Overall, this experience tainted what was meant to be a special celebration. Many friends have asked where we’re staying, and unfortunately, I would not recommend this resort based on the customer service alone.

Making Family Memories
Pros:

We had a lovely 7 days by the pool and lagoon in the sun. We enjoyed the friendly , enthusiast and helpful staff. They made our holiday a memorable family experience. Loka learnt all our children's names and was very engaging. Eka made my wife's 50th Dinner very special, singing happy birthday and giving her flowers. The Morning Chef Sutar was so accommodating with my wife's gluten free and made her feel special and cared for. Haddie at reception was helpful. Alex was great with entertainment. Juli was great at breakfast

We love Padma because of the staff!!!
Pros:

Nanda from the buffet breakfast was absolutely incredible such a kind, genuine, and thoughtful man.

One morning, my husband was unwell, and without hesitation, Nanda organised food and coffee to be sent to our room while the Padma doctor was caring for him. Nothing was ever too hard, he went above and beyond in every way.

The following morning was my birthday, and Nanda surprised me with cake and music… such a beautiful and unexpected touch 💙

These are the moments that turn a holiday into lifelong memories. Padma has been the most incredible experience for our family, and we are so deeply grateful.

The Best Resort in Legian
Pros:

Every-time we visit Bali, and I’ve been into so many hotels and resorts, this Resort has been one of the best place to stay. From the location, services, rooms and facilities which are very much comfortable. Honestly, since we basically already got everything provided there, I prefer to stay at the hotel and explore around it rather than spending my time outside. Very peaceful, full of nature, near the beachfront. Special thanks to Mas Hadi (Receptionist) for being such a great helper and lovely host. Can’t wait to come back here! Very recommended.

Exceptional Service!
Pros:

A group of 19 friends went to this resort. Check in by Cristian and check out by Theo was seamless. Every single staff member was kind, respectful, polite and efficient. Unfortunately I can’t remember all the names.

Senti and Wanda were very friendly and booked us for a wonderful dinner with live music. They also arranged to have a surprise birthday cake for one of our friends. All the servers in the SKAI restaurant and breakfast buffet were super nice and helpful.

At the pool bar we were taken care of by Gustaf, Nova, Arya & Satya. They were phenomenal. Housekeeping did a great job keeping our rooms clean and tidy.

Overall, we had an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this resort.

Stayed at Padma Resort Legian for 5 nights and had an incredible experience. The resort itself is fantastic, with excellent restaurants on-site—perfect for those nights when you don’t feel like heading out. The facilities are great, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens that really add to the overall atmosphere.

What truly sets this resort apart, though, is the staff. They are genuinely warm, welcoming, and go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their level of service is exceptional, and they consistently go above and beyond.

A special shoutout to the amazing team members who made our stay so memorable: Ayu, Tia, Alex, Juwita, Surya, Speti, Rita, Sutar, Sepia, Putera & Rofi(room attendants), and Ari, the poolside barman who made the best cocktails!

Because of the people and the experience, I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Great resort....archery at the Padma Legian. Heaps of fun!!
Pros:

My wife and I are currently staying at the Padma Legian (4 nights). We have visited Bali many times, but this is by far the best resort within the Seminyak/Legian/Kuta area.

The staff within the entire resort (from front desk to housekeeping) are very attentive and friendly (which I have already outlined in previous reviews over the last few days - Skai Bar and Tenkai restaurants).

This morning we had a crack at the archery, which was a lot if fun. The instructor, DARMADI, was friendly, helpful and knowledgable. This made the whole experience so much fun adding a totally different element to our holiday!!

Next level for families
Pros:

16 years ago my wife and I got married here at the Padma and were keen to see what has changed.

The hotel had really gone to another level of organisation and had a very comprehensive offer to families.

Whether its the kids pool with water slides, the kids pizza and popcorn, the music in the pool area, the milkshakes (do not underestimate how good they are), the archery, car games, animals, I could go on.

My children viewed it as a wonderland and the minute we left wanted to go back.

Of course the food, hotel grounds, the access to shopping ad the beach are all still there.

All the rooms also have something to offer, ours viewed the trees in the grounds opposite and was still beatiful with a great lawn for the kids to play on.

My advice, if you have a family and you want a break while your kids entertain themselves, this is the hotel for you.

Amazing resort highly recommended

I recently returned from a three-week trip to Indonesia, Bali. One of the hotels I stayed at was Padma Resort Legian, from 14th December 2025 for four nights.

This hotel resort is incredible. The room layouts are fantastic. The pools are great. The additional services they offer, such as fishing, archery, and morning yoga, are all very well organised. The resort is very clean and extremely well maintained. The food and breakfast are amazing, with a wide selection of international cuisine as well as excellent local dishes. The grounds are beautiful. The gym is fully equipped and well maintained. The level of hygiene is top-notch.

All staff are very respectful and always prepared to go above and beyond, creating a genuinely pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. While there were no issues with any staff, there were a handful of individuals who truly stood out and went above and beyond, making the stay for me and my family even more enjoyable. A special thanks for your fantastic hospitality to the following people:

Tami and Hadi – from the front desk/customer services; they were exceptionally welcoming and consistently supportive.

Nanda and Senti – in food and dining, particularly during breakfast, providing outstanding service and always happy to prepare anything in any way requested.

Bagus and Adi – thank you for the wonderful morning yoga sessions and your additional guidance.

Rio – from the Skai Bar, for his friendly manner and excellent service.

I travel on average two to three times a year with my family and have stayed at many resorts and hotels across the world. I would personally rank Padma Resort as one of my top 10 hotels for layout and overall service/experience. I will definitely revisit on my return to Bali in the near future. A very well-deserved five stars from me. Thank you to everyone for your wonderful, warm, and caring service. Keep up the great work.

Padma Legian Best in Bali!!

Beautiful Padma Legian! My wife and I with family and friends have been here a few times now we keep coming back. Why? timeless Balinese architecture the best staff who remember you. Everything you would want in a resort great food great pools close to restaurants & shopping. Recommend anyone coming to Bali for the first time or the second time if you haven’t tried Padma do yourself a favour! Did I mention the discount you get from coming back for the second and subsequent times pretty much pays for your drinks?

be very careful when checking in and getting sucked in to paying for a room up grade !! we were told to upgrade to the pool lagoon room it would only be $20000 extra per night however was charged $200000 per night charged to our credit card 💳 both my husband & i questioned at the time so it’s only $20 australian per night ?? she responded twice yes that’s correct 👍 evidently not $600 australian 🇦🇺 extra on our accomodation & the room we had previously was actually much better than the up ⬆️ grade .. lesson learnt .

Christmas as a family and have opened our love of this experience with our friends, the Harriott family & they couldn’t be more thrilled and happy with their holiday with us and the Padma experience as well.

You are the staff who treat us like family. It’s your smiles. It’s the genuine joy over the past 15 years since our kids were little to now being 25 years old and us coming back to share Christmas with you again this year. It’s the laughter from attempting yoga with Bagus together as a family in the morning to the best breakfast in the world in my husbands eyes, to David creating his magic with his cocktail moves at the Skai bar, to Mardika the chef, Hari & Dharma at the teppanyaki cooking up A feast for us. It’s all the options on offer to entertain us from tennis to archery and the gym, to the flower petal spa experience.

Amazing resort with fantastic staff!
Pros:

We have stayed at Padma many times and recently visited for our honeymoon - as always it was amazing!

In addition to the wonderful facilities and breakfast, what sets this place apart from other resorts is the amazing staff who go above and beyond for their guests.

We spent many afternoons by the pool enjoying happy hour. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to the pool bar staff, Pendi, Arya and Nova, who went above and beyond each day to make sure we had everything we needed. Their friendliness, great sense of humour and amazing customer service made our trip even more memorable and we are so pleased we got to meet them during our stay.

We can’t wait to return and hopefully see them again.

Also thank you to Katon for cleaning our room to a fantastic standard and the adorable towel animals left for us.
