Great views and location but neglected hotel accomodation.
Pros:

The location. Waterfront views from the 2 bedroom apartment were lovely and provided sunrise and sunset views as it is located on the point of York Cove. Air-conditioning in all rooms kept us warm. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is spacious with TVs in each room.

Cons:

The apartment is above the restuarant. The stairway leading up to the apartment has a strong cooking odour that also permeates the apartment. We sprayed air freshener which worked to an extent, although the smell of grease crept in overnight. The kitchen is large. Limited cooking equipment was supplied and the one frypan and saucepan available was old, falling apart and the teflon coating was decrepid. I can only guess they want you to use the restuarant downstairs! The balcony tiles, glass and furniture had not been cleaned- there were cobwebs and bird droppings apparent. This hotel has been neglected and is over-priced.

Pros:

Access to and from the room to the car park was very cumbersome. Room was located at a lower floor and there was no access to the room from the reception. There was a strpng fueld stench alog the walkways leading to the room.

Great spot, good value, an enjoyable winter's retreat.
Pros:

Great location, large well furnished suite. Huge comfortable bed. Perfect night away in winter.

Cons:

Checkin directions to room a little confusing. Unattended reception made for a little uncertainty. Access for someone who struggles with steps not ideal, until an alternative found.

I absolutely loved the size of our two bedroom apartmentand would definitelystay here again
Pros:

the rooms were big and well appointed, very quiet, the restaurant downstairs had beautiful food, short walk along the waters edge to centre of town.

Cons:

they servicing of the rooms was strange, sometimes they made the beds, other times no, same with fresh towels, it was hit n miss, the tv in the bedroom didn’t work, and the split air cons were confusing because there was 2 remotes for 3 units. But the young guy who ran the place was prob doing everything, he was very polite and eager to help.

Great people and Manger. No investment in ASSEST by owner as lack maintenance 2 plus year
Pros:

Restaurant Freezing and broken for 18 months. Minimal people. Staff and food great.

Atmosphere in busy time is DEAD week after SCHOOL HOLIDAY WHEN ALOT TRAVELERS
