No value for money, huge property.
Pros:

Property was really good, a massive. Very good location as name suggest its really at the beach.

Cons:

Kitchen staff was rude. Most of the time there was nobody to attend. One bar tender was their, he asked us keep quiet while he continued talking over mobile phone, ( I guess call must have been personal). Kitchen staff was blaming us for returning food to restaurant as we didn't wanted to eat in the room, because of that they delayed the order of dinner made by my colleagues at the restaurant.
Intercom was not working. It was a huge property, my colleague had to go back to reception just ask for room service.

Pros:

Pretty convenient place to stay in Pemba for a business trip. I have staid there many times.
Still efforts needed to recover the bright of 10 years ago.
This time the main issue has been that the bed was not clean.

Pros:

Grand hôtel conçu pour recevoir un grand nombre d'hôtes. Très beaux espaces mais à entretenir de façon plus stricte. Personnel parfois très aimable, parfois absent, comme s'il était laissé à la dérive sans suivi stricte. Bon séjour dans un hôtel qui dispose de beaux atouts et qui pourrait prétendre à un plus haut niveau en formant ou suivant mieux son personnel.

Terribly disappointing
Pros:

terribly disappointing, not what it used to be. Hotel was empty, breakfast was second-class, air con broken, welcome letter addressed to someone else, main restaurant closed, poor service. Not worth it. Business travelers to Pemba should try the new Hotel Raphael,very good value for money.

Pros:

Bel hôtel avec une belle piscine et un bon buffet petit déjeuner. Superbe plage qui longe les chambres.
Spa excellent avec jacuzzi.
Personnels particulièrement respectueux et nmbreux
Le bémol c'est qu'il n'y a aucune activité au sein de l'hôtel et à l'extérieur: prévoir un bon livre!
