A comfortable stay with a fantastic layout for larger groups
This stay was comfortable, and the rooms offered a really strategic setup for bigger families or groups. With a split‑level layout, you arrive into a private foyer — the perfect space to leave beach gear, shoes, and all the bits and pieces before entering the main areas.

Two rooms provided two separate sleeping arrangements, which is ideal when travelling with multiple people with 2x bathrooms and toilet.

A huge back bedroom with a Queen bed, but honestly, this room is massive. You could easily fit 2x Queens in here. If you need extra bedding, be sure to ask (there is a charge, but the space absolutely allows for it).

The lounge also folds out into a bed.

All up, this two‑level setup could comfortably host a family of six, with room to move and everyone having their own space.

The location is close to the main boardwalk of Nelson Bay, making it easy to explore.

There are no meal options onsite, so plan to dine out or use the full kitchen.

Parking is included and accessed via a swipe‑entry gated carpark under the hotel.

You can walk to the main street, but it is very hilly, so keep mobility needs in mind.

There is a small pool onsite for a quick dip.

Fresh air is easily accessible via the balcony, which is a lovely touch.

Our stay here was comfortable and would suit a larger family perfectly. The space, the layout, and the flexibility make it great value at this price point. Clean, practical, and well‑designed for travellers who need room to spread out.

Location. Price and the facilities

You are met by the lovely Mat who is very hospitable and makes you feel at home. The facilities are excellent, the pool area is lovely and the rooms are modern and spacious. The oaks is in close proximity to beach and town.

Great location and view. We were upgraded. The pool was clean.

The modern décor, cleanliness and the comfortable bed. Shower was great, clean and powerful. location is not too far from the town centre, so easy to get to walking. Provision of a lock up garage only accessible with your hotel key provided extra level of security.

From the time we arrived the staff was very welcoming ,as a couple in our 60 s celebrating a birthday we received a beautiful bottle of bubbly, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment it was lovely very clean big shout out to the cleaners! We loved how big and roomy the apartment was it has everything you need in it if you decide to cook , secure parking and close enough to every thing. We usually stay at another resort this will be our new accommodation from now on 😊

Comfortable clean and just what was advertised

Convenient access and all the shops, attractions at the walking distance. Close to the bus stops taking to Shoal / Fingal bay and directly to Newcastle interchange.
