The rooms were great and clean

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that we posted our do not disturb sign on the door. And house keeping opened the door anyway and walked on my 13 yr old son naked after showering. Also, the small fridge was leaking water.

Great hotel, certainly my favorite one I've stayed in in Sulphur Springs.
Pros:

The room was well-appointed and comfortable. Quiet during the night. The bed was comfortable. No major complaints.

Cons:

It was odd to have a list of the price of things if they were stolen in the bathroom. That lowered the hotel's perceived value. The shower was out of conditioner. The shower didn't feel as elevated as everything else, like some remnant of a remodel that wasn't as impacted. One elevator wasn't bad with the busy-ness of the hotel.

The Sulphur Springs La Quinta offers reliable and comfortable conditions
Pros:

The breakfast had hot options but were not on my diet. There was fruit, yogurt, cereal as an alternative. The room was quiet, spacious and clean. It had a good shower with ample hot water. The artwork in the room was good, there was an excellent, large photo of a local (or anyway: Texas) creek. Room was business standard overall. The hallway carpeting was pleasant.

Cons:

The hot options for breakfast --that many people evidently like-- were for me bland and over processed. Very high carb. I availed myself of the cold side options = Raisin Bran, orange juice.
