I really liked the room with automated curtains and lights. Also, the bed was really comfortable, and I would like to thank the hotel for the yummy high cacao chocolate. The staff at the front desk and front door were super nice. I did not have any cash on me so felt bad for not tipping them. Just great hospitality!
I was not so hip on the loud noise at the lobby area at nighttime with the music.
We had an amazing experience at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver! Our 6 year old loved the hotel too! The location is perfect! We were able to walk to hop on the skylynx to Whistler, the hop on and off tour is just behind the building and we are so close to many great restaurants and shopping too. The atmosphere is very relaxing. We loved the vibe right when we walked in the hotel. They were also so kind to arrange for a snack upon arrival. Our son wasn’t feeling well from the travel so the extra touch was so nice and appreciated! The lobby lounge is so lively in the evening and it reminds us of similar hotels back home. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was so generous to give us an upgrade. Our son kept saying everything is so fancy and he loved it. We also had a chance to grab breakfast at one of the restaurants. It was amazing! The host and staff were so welcoming. Our son had an amazing time. The concierge is super responsive and answered all my questions. They also gave amazing recommendations and offered to help us book our excursions. It was great value for what we received. If we come back to Vancouver, we will definitely visit this hotel again!! I would recommend this hotel and it is very family too! Thanm you so much for the amazing hospitality!
My favorite hotel in Vancouver! Amazing service, rooms and staff! I always enjoy my trips down here
Lage, Qualität der Zimmer, Freundlichkeit des Personals, Bar, Live Musik,.......
Ich persönlich habe noch keine bessere Location in Vancouver entdeckt.
es war perfekt
Excellent views and customer service.
Room service staff was very good.
Valet parking is expensive
easily one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at , don't ever hesitate to book this hotel!
As soon as we arrived the service and care was genuine and 10/10 from the bellmen/ valet to the front desk. We were originally supposed to stay in whistler for a snowboard trip for 2 weeks but my girlfriend dislocated her elbow the first day so we decided to go to Vancouver for a few nights before we headed back to calgary.
Upon arrival the front desk lady upgraded us to a very nice suite that over looked the harbour to the lions gate bridge, with my GF being injured it we were super appreciative of that ,and they would always ask do you need any ice or anything for your arm which was a very thoughtful.
The food is top notch , we ordered sushi for room service our first day and it was very fresh and delicious and other than that we just had breakfast and we have 0 complaints everything was fresh and tasty.
its a nice plus being so close to so many nice restaurants in coal harbour and being able to walk out your door to the sea wall and walk up to Robson. Not to mention if you are catching a Canucks game you can hop on the sky train for a quick 3 stops.
We can't wait to be back, Thank you fairmont team!
The staff was absolutely amazing! Everyone was extremely attentive and made sure we had an excellent stay. Also loved the pool as well as the huge gym!
There was some construction going on in the room next to us. It was quite loud during the day but we also didn't complain and we are sure something would have been changed if we would have!
We had 2 nights at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, staying on the Fairmont Gold floors. Services is top notch. Rooms are very comfortable.
We had an issue with our first room and the team quickly resolved it by upgrading us to the city king suite. (Totally not necessary but greatly appreciated)
Also enjoyed the Botanist restaurant in the hotel. An amazing dining experience
We stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim for two nights in September 2025, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience felt both luxurious and effortless.
We booked a spacious suite with a water view, and it was absolutely stunning. The room was beautifully designed and impeccably clean. Waking up to panoramic views of the harbor each morning was unforgettable-truly one of the highlights of the trip.
The hotel's Fairmont Gold Lounge, overlooking the water, was another standout. The staff there were very friendly and the space was elegant. It was a perfect place to have breakfast or drinks while enjoying a spectacular view.
We also loved the hotel's sushi restaurant, which delivered incredibly fresh, high-quality sushi. Pairing late night dinner with the hotel's live music in the lobby created such a vibrant and memorable atmosphere.
Highly recommended!
The nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Great service. 10/10 recommend.
This place is 11/10 if you want great service with smiles, the sauna was under renovation, hopefully they’ll call me back with a voucher when it opens up , to accommodate my next stay 😉
We went for breakfast while we were staying which they were hosting in the lobby bar at the time since the restaurant was under renos. The staff were all so great considering it was running different. We had Jess as our server who was so lovely and was so above with us. We were torn between getting sweet or savory for breakfast. When we chose savory (with her advice) she then snuck to the back and brought us back a couple of sweet pastries to balance us out. It was such a small gesture that was so personal!!
I stayed one week at Fairmont Pacific Rim for a business trip during winter, and this hotel clearly stands out among Fairmont properties.
The location is outstanding. Right on the seafront, it offers direct access to the waterfront path, which is perfect for a morning jog along the water. The seaplane terminal is right in front of the hotel, while downtown Vancouver is immediately behind and easily walkable — a rare combination of calm, views, and centrality.
Unlike many traditional Fairmonts located in older, historic buildings, the Pacific Rim feels fresh, modern, and very well maintained. Furnishings are contemporary, elegant, and in excellent condition, reflecting recent CAPEX and strong attention to detail.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped, fully meeting the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The bed is extremely comfortable, and even with a partial water view, the outlook over the harbor is a real pleasure, especially in the morning or at sunset.
Breakfast on the second floor is excellent, with high-quality products and a refined atmosphere — ideal before a workday.
One of the hotel’s strongest assets is the ground-floor restaurant and bar. Whether for a coffee, a business meeting, or dinner, the ambiance is exceptional. The fireplaces create a warm, lively atmosphere, and the space is consistently full — always a very good sign.
Check-in service was professional and efficient, without being particularly memorable, but everything ran smoothly throughout the stay.
Overall, this is a premium, modern Fairmont, perfectly suited for business travelers who want comfort, atmosphere, and a top-tier location.
Despite being expensive, the experience fully justifies the price.
I would definitely return and would highly recommend it, especially for business stays in Vancouver.
Upscale, first class, close to the convention center, clean and convenient. The exercise room, not tub and lobby lounge were all beautiful facilities
Front door bump was always a surprise
