We enjoyed a wonderful view over the harbour. And the room was spacious.
We had to wait until the room was available in the café located at the ground floor where the service was extremely slow.
Location/downtown proximity. Very walkable to multiple attractions. Fairmont gold lounge. Beautiful city/water views. In room dining/room service.
No complaints, everything was exceptional. One side note when it comes to parking cost, I always utilize valet parking when available but thought it was odd that the daily self parking cost was the same as valet parking.

They helped with the planning and details around the proposal, anticipated our needs, and always made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation.
Every interaction we had with staff was warm and professional, and the service throughout the hotel consistently exceeded expectations. The atmosphere, amenities, and overall attention to detail made our stay feel very special and memorable.

Stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim with my triplet sisters for our birthday and had an amazing experience. The hotel is gorgeous, but the standout was Kyle, one of the bartenders, who went above and beyond, he even arranged last‑minute access to a sold‑out comedy show for us. His kindness made our celebration truly special. Highly recommend this hotel for exceptional service and a memorable stay.
This was our second stay at this hotel at the end of a skiing trip. If you have an opportunity to stay here, do it! You won't regret it. In particular, go for GOLD if you can and get pampered. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and there to make your stay enjoyable. Terrific location and a most relaxing stay.

The staff members at the Fairmont Pacific Rim were all absolutely outstanding. In particular, I wish to thank Vienna at the Front Desk for kindly helping me navigate through the neighborhood and being so friendly throughout my stay there. Zain at the hotel entrance also provided exceptional service. Furthermore, on the day that I arrived, the person who opened my taxi door knew my name before I even checked in - among all of the hotels that I have stayed in the past, this was the first time that this happened. When I needed something to be printed out for my work, it was ready within ten minutes. Thank you so much for this amazing experience. I will definitely stay at this hotel the next time I travel to Vancouver.
Stayed at the Fairmont Pacific Rim for 4 nights in the pool view suite. The room was well appointed, large, updated, and clean.
I would’ve liked a bidet/smart toilet for a hotel of this caliber, but, the other features of this property more than make up for it.
We were greeted promptly upon arrival by door staff who were incredibly attentive the entire time we were there. I’m terrible with names, but, the gentlemen with the glasses even double checked to make sure a restaurant we wanted to go to was open because we had had so much bad luck with dining during our stay so far… above and beyond.
The concierge team was helpful in choosing dining options and the pool staff was also great.
The real star of the trip was the “spa”. I only put that in quotations because they are currently undergoing a multi-million dollar remodel of their award winning spa- but what they’ve “slapped together” in the meantime would rival many spas at 5 star properties around the world. No, there’s not a steam room in your locker room, but, the Fairmont has done their absolute best to make sure you don’t notice. That was great, but, the temporary spa didn’t hold a candle to the providers. My wife and I both had excellent massages - mine in particular was one of the best I’ve had in a long time - shout out to Perry for a great job!
I really liked the room with automated curtains and lights. Also, the bed was really comfortable, and I would like to thank the hotel for the yummy high cacao chocolate. The staff at the front desk and front door were super nice. I did not have any cash on me so felt bad for not tipping them. Just great hospitality!
I was not so hip on the loud noise at the lobby area at nighttime with the music.
We had an amazing experience at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in Vancouver! Our 6 year old loved the hotel too! The location is perfect! We were able to walk to hop on the skylynx to Whistler, the hop on and off tour is just behind the building and we are so close to many great restaurants and shopping too. The atmosphere is very relaxing. We loved the vibe right when we walked in the hotel. They were also so kind to arrange for a snack upon arrival. Our son wasn’t feeling well from the travel so the extra touch was so nice and appreciated! The lobby lounge is so lively in the evening and it reminds us of similar hotels back home. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was so generous to give us an upgrade. Our son kept saying everything is so fancy and he loved it. We also had a chance to grab breakfast at one of the restaurants. It was amazing! The host and staff were so welcoming. Our son had an amazing time. The concierge is super responsive and answered all my questions. They also gave amazing recommendations and offered to help us book our excursions. It was great value for what we received. If we come back to Vancouver, we will definitely visit this hotel again!! I would recommend this hotel and it is very family too! Thanm you so much for the amazing hospitality!
