Nothing, tried to cancel via booking.com and hotel directly within hours and they both claim you cannot do that and each one said you have to contact the other. I contacted the hotel directly and spoke to the operation manager who fob me off and told me to speak to the third party. I never approved to Booking .com but my booking went through automatically by Paypal because this is the way i set it up recently for payment.
They could have cancelled my booking when i first requested it instead of making such a hoo har about it.
Great location! Fabulous breakfast specially if Hermy is there! No wooden utensils for the win!
We've stayed 5 times, but this time we were on the 4th floor and tge beds were terrible. All other stays were on 2, 3rd floors and beds were great! That's the only complaint we've had. Thank you!

The room size, the location, the pool and the staff.
The carpet can benefit a better clean around the mattress, the nightstand and room in general.

One lady working in breakfast in morning wasn't welcoming..Asked something about toast maker and she said read the instructions and she left..

After a long drive back returning home to Penticton from Central Alberta, my car broke down on the side of the road just south of Vernon.
By the time BCAA sent me a tow truck and towed me to their offices in Kelowna, it was too late to work on my car so I had to stay overnight. BCAA suggested I go stay at the Comfort Inn across the street from them. I did, best decision I ever made. It was a rough day. I was very tired and a little shaken up and worried about the cost of the day.
A wonderful young man, M.Mehra, liistened to my story and said he had one room left. It sounded a bit fancy with a king bed, a couch, table and a desk. I asked for any discount I could get and I qualified for the seniors one. The room rate was surprisingly lower than I thought so I was very happy and the room was absolutely amazing. My stay there was wonderful. It was so clean. It came with a nice breakfast in the morning and the minute I walked in that room I just felt better. I had a shower and sat on that big king bed watching a beautiful big screen TV.
After breakfast in the morning I went to their gym and rode a stationary bike for a little while. There was a nice pool that families were playing in
The checkout process was wonderful also, so friendly and they let me have a bit of an extended checkout as my car still wasn't ready the next morning. Thank you so much!.

On a positive note, the breakfast service was excellent; the area was well-maintained and offered a great variety. I also found the room itself to be very clean and inviting. A standout detail was the personalized welcome message on the TV screen upon arrival—seeing 'Welcome, Rodgers Nathan' was a thoughtful touch that made the check-in experience feel special.
While I generally enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Suites hotel, my stay in Room 116 had several shortcomings. The view from the window was disappointing, and the oversized bathroom door felt impractical for the space. More importantly, I found the lack of basic amenities like hand soap—which required a separate request—to be a lapse in standard service. Lastly, for a hotel with such a high rating, the quality of the toiletries, specifically the toilet paper, did not meet the premium expectations I had for my visit.
