Great location nice clean place

We had a great stay at Rip Jack Inn and wish we could have stayed longer than one night. We stayed in a bungalow with our family of 5 and it was very comfortable and had a private tropical feel. The food at the resort was delicious but expensive. My kids had a great time surfing in the area.

Stones throw away from the best beach for bodysurfing. Great food at the restaurant as well.

We arrived at 11 in the morni

The RipJack Inn is our go-to place to stay in the Playa Grande area. The rooms are clean, spacious with hot water and cool air conditioning. The restaurant/bar area has a fabulous happy hour with tasty food and refreshing beverages. You are a minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica. Monkeys and exotic birds are plentiful on the property. We have stayed on this property on several occasions and will continue to due so in the future.

The property seem new, or at least recently renovated it is beautiful. We stayed in the bungalow and it was great, but could have used a way to hang up wet clothes.

Unfortunately our room wasn't ready for us when we arrived, so we had to wait. And when we got to the room, the toilet needed plunging - nothing messy, but it wasn't flushing properly.

Staff was very friendly and as responsive as possible.

Everything we ordered in the restaurant was delicious.

Over priced and needs a re model

It was nice except even though they were other available rooms empty they booked this next to the maids so they started banging at 5:45 a.m. and woke us up. Breakfast was good but was not hot it was like they took it off of a buffet.

Our stay at Rip Jack Inn was absolutely wonderful! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was outstanding. We especially loved the chicken nachos and happy hour drinks. The beach is just a one-minute walk from the property, which was perfect. We initially planned to stay for two nights but ended up extending for two more because of the amazing hospitality. Huge thanks to the incredible staff and owners for making our visit so special!

Rip jack was great! Very quiet and easy walk to beach right outside the property. Highly recommend!

Hotel seems nice but rooms aren’t

The reason for only 4 star, was the restaurant. Menu Options were limited. No changes or specials all week. Didn’t see any Costa Rica authentic food. What we did order from the menu, was delicious.

Food was excellent, but at California prices 😁

The RipJack Inn was exactly what we needed. I was traveling alone with 2 teens and we stayed in one of the suites and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The close proximity to the beach, the pool just steps from our suite’s door, the excellent food at the restaurant, the cleanliness and comfort of our room with ceiling fans & beds that slept well made it a perfect stay. Not to mention the friendly staff and activity booked for atv rides was above and beyond what we’d hope for in terms of fun and adventure.. it was the perfect escape. We’ll definitely be back. Many thanks for a wonderful trip!

The restaurant was closed and we woke up to loud drilling at 6:40 in the morning. Also the room is in need of a serious deep clean because it was really dirty.
