Hyatt Place Reno/Tahoe Airport

The location is near the airport, so not a lot available that is super close. Room was nice, bed comfortable.

We stayed at the Hyatt Place at the Reno-Tahoe International airport. We were only there to sleep before and early fright the next day. Check in and check out were easy and smooth with two very friendly and kind staff members, Briana and Kay. We didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel, but Briana and Kay made sure we had to go bags to eat. The hotel was clean and very well lit. There was no noise the.night we spent there. We’ll be staying there again.

Hotel room was filthy. Bathroom door wouldn't shut properly. I've stayed here several times before, but this time was terrible. Parking used to be free. It's not advertised at all that there is a charge now. Breakfast should be way better if they are going to charge for it. Luckily, I wasn't charged because I'm a Hyatt member (globalist). This was the worst Hyatt I've stayed at, hands down. This used to be a decent place to stay. If in Reno again, I'll either go to the other Hyatt Place or not stay a Hyatt at all.

Place was clean but have to paid for breakfast and parking,even for members! Pool under renovation and only booked for indoor pool.

We stayed for one night and stayed here although we were not flying anywhere. It was more expensive than most of the other hotels in the area but we chose it because other family members were staying there. The staff were pleasant enough but not overly friendly. The hotel and the rooms were large, clean and comfortable with the expected amenities. My issues with the hotel are the charges that are not accounted for up front. We did not realize that we had to pay for parking until check in and then had to use an app. When we checked our cc statement over a week later, we found that they had charged us for 2 days of parking when we were only there for one day. It has been a pain to try to get the refund, which we still have not received. The other hidden charge was breakfast. On check in we were told the hours it was served but not that there would be a charge. Nor was there any signage or indication of the charge anywhere I could see. We did not find out we were charged until after we checked out and received our bill. While the hotel and room were comfortable and clean, I won’t stay here again due to the hidden charges and lack of caring attitude by the staff.

I stayed at Hyatt Place Reno airport for 1 night in Nov’25. My son was looking forward to getting into the pool. We put on our swimsuits and went downstairs just to see that it was empty! Apparently there was a leak in the roof and they had to repair the pool. There was no mention of this anywhere on the website. We also did not get any emails about this. Very disappointed because my son was very unhappy. Additionally the breakfast quality was not in par with Hyatt standards.

Clean, large room, coffee pot in room with ceramic cups, close to the airport, free quick shuttle to and from the airport, and get staff.

The hotel was very clean and easy to get to. But I can not say enough about the most amazing staff! Brianna, Kevin, Areli, and Connie. These wonderful people went completely out of their way to make sure our short stay was unforgettable. The kindness and compassion they showed was extraordinary. Because of their dedication to making sure our needs were met we will most definitely use Hyatt more often! Thank you Hyatt your staff is absolutely the best.

Always a great stay at this property as I've been staying here over the last 13 years for business and pleasure. The team members are always welcoming and make sure that my stay is enjoyable. The only issue is that the property is in need of a renovation as much of the room equipment, furniture, wall paint/wall paper are aging and in need of replacement

The front desk was great. Most of the housekeeping & maintenance staff was excellent. The area was decent.

Location and friendliness of the staff

Parking is not free and it is hidden on the website. Checkout is noon and parking ends at 11. Peeling wall paper in rooms or banged up walls. The first room they put me in the bar of soap in the bathroom was open. The staff that work the front during the day are not welcoming. They made me feel like an idiot when I asked questions.
