The Hyatt Place Reno airport is next to the Reno airport and very well connected with a shuttle from the hotel. The hotel has a bar and some simple things to eat. It is good for a one night stay, when you have a very early flight. The room is spacious and accessible by elevator.
It would have been nice when the restaurant had a little more choice to eat something. Further no comments.
Close to airport.
Restaurants not so close.
The charges for parking. The shower heads (painful) our bathroom door stuck & was difficult to open/ close! Will not be staying here again! :(
The manager on duty offered to only charge me the cleaning fee and reimburse me the majority of my payment since I had only stayed in my room for a few hours due to a family member being in the hospital. They did not honor their word. I called 3 times to check on the status of the reimbursement until the full amount was officially deducted from my card.
The location was great for what we needed for 1 night
The room smelled. The staff wasn’t very friendly and not helpful. Our luggage had gotten wet and some of our clothing was wet when asked if there was a laundry facility in the building, we were told yes, but the machines required quarters and the hotel staff couldn’t provide any to us so we had to go find a laundromat to use in downtown Reno.
The size of our room was excellent since I was with my 2 adult kids, we each had our own bed.
Old run down damage to the doors and bathroom, no restaurant on site.
Great location close to airport. Hotel needs repairs and upgrades and should focus more attention to cleaning. Breakfast options were very limited.
The location is near the airport, so not a lot available that is super close. Room was nice, bed comfortable.
You have to do a QR code for parking that you have to pay for that you have no clue the amount. You also have to pay for breakfast, these were not clear when I booked the hotel.
Returned here again for my annual Reno birthday/make Super Bowl bets weekend and had another fantastic stay. Breakfast is still free and the hotel was quiet despite being sold out. They still have the free airport shuttle and the hotel is still as clean as I remember. Since I come to Reno to gamble I love staying here so I don't have to deal with that casino hotel cigarette smell. The staff here is friendly and Maria remembered me and was pleasant as usual. There really is no other place I'd rather stay here, true you are not near much besides the airport but everything is only a few minutes drive. They've gone through some mgmt changes but you won't notice the difference as long as they keep their fantastic staff. See you all again in the Summer!
Very disappointed in the misleading and undisclosed pricing of this hotel. I booked a room on the hotel's website for $134 a night which was charged to my credit card at the time of booking. Upon arriving I found there was an undisclosed additional parking fee of $11.50 a night to park in the almost empty parking lot. After checking charges on my credit card after arriving home, I found an additional undisclosed $19.75 charge from the hotel that was charged on the night of my stay. I called the hotel and was told the price of the room was $134 charged at time of booking + $19.75 charged at the time of the stay = $153.75 for a one night stay in the room.
My stay was fine, but I will probably be searching other hotel options when I stay near the Reno Tahoe airport. It did the job for a 5:30 AM flight and it was very convenient (five minute drive to the rental car drop off area in the garage at the airport). Good enough. Also, I thought the room was reasonably dark and quiet.
However, the negatives worth that the cleanliness was subpar (especially for Hyatt standards and price level). There was a noticeable glob of a gummy or very large boogie on the carpet next to the bed. There was also a lot of dust accumulation along the edges of the carpet and it just didn’t look like it was deep cleaned in a while. All fixtures seemed very worn and beat, light switch super loose and had to finagle and tinker with it several times just to get it to work. Also, the pillows were way too small for the bed and very lumpy and uncomfortable.
Pool area was closed for long term maintenance.
Clean and tidy, lovely room and comfy bed. Only down side was the shuttle was not reliable at night. Night staff not nice, morning one was nice.
The staff was very nice, and the rooms were pretty big.
You have to pay to park your car here even though they have a parking lot, they don’t have any cameras to protect your car so we had someone steal our bikes off our bike rack and they said there was nothing they could do. The price we payed was the same we payed for a casino hotel nearby and the casino was much much nicer with free parking. The room was ok but definitely old and hadn’t been updated for at least 20 years. The furniture needs to be changed and most of it is stained.
