The work staff. All awesome. We had a tree blocking our view to the west from the room. Loved that they had coffee all day in the lobby and loved that they have live music on Saturday nights outside on the patio all summer. The duo that was there when we stayed...Through The Fire...was awesome. The salt water pool was also nice.
I think because of the breakfast reviews I was expecting more. It was adequate but not fantastic. But the staff was so kind and friendly, hate to complain about anything.
Room was very clean and the staff were welcoming. There was a patio to eat out on and look out at the Dalles dam and the bridge to Washington.
It wasn't a resort stop, but that was not what I was after. The room was better than I expected for a highway-side motel.
- No freezer in the fridge to refreeze my cooler blue ice. But they do have an ice machine so I was able to use that.
- A bit far from downtown/oldtown. Definitely not a walk there, but a pretty easy drive.

Bed, mattress is broke down on the right side really bad.
Floors are flirty, my feet were black. Gross
The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are a little small, but are well fitted with furniture. Watching, from the patio while eating breakfast, a cruise ship and tug boat/barge enter and exit The Dalles Dam locks was a highlight of the stay.
There was a small amount of mold in the shower.
Views, clean room, great service!
The breakfast was changed between days and gave optional choices that were flavorful. We enjoyed breakfast each morning.
I use a walker and had difficulty because there was only 2 times handicapped parking was available near the lobby (and breakfast).
Staff was great! Also, the location is beautiful and the live music in the evening a pleasant surprise.
We had chosen this property in part because it had a pool and wanted a little summertime treat. Unfortunately, the pool is so GROSS. We wanted to love this hotel and did besides the filthy pool. I should not have gone in but had really looked forward to it, just by looking I knew better, when I got out I felt like I was covered in slime. Please keep better care of the pool so we can come back!
Have gone here for years for the view but now their trees block the gorgeous view and we upgraded by 30 bucks to have a view and it certainly was not worth the 30
Trees now block the views, the phones didn’t work so I had to get dressed after getting ready for bed to use their internet because they don’t have it anywhere in the room
Beautiful view of you book the expensive rooms. Full continental breakfast. Pool is good, laundry, don't bother...
The room was good with a great view, but just a little tight for space, It was clean and comfortable and the reception staff were excellent. There was live music on the patio which was enjoyable with a beer and the setting sun. Space for the inclusive breakfast was a little tight if it coincided with too many other guests!
