Very nice apartment, great amenaties. Enjoyed my stay, and will come back.
Unfortunately I was really disappointed because the photos that I saw online were not the actual photos of the apartment that I wanted to stay at. They need to have more accurate information on what apartment are you getting because I paid more because I saw there was a better place at the end it was not what I saw online.
Apartment was nice. Staff is present during business hours. Clean and good air conditioning. In a great location. Weekends the street is closed to pedestrian traffic. Great atmosphere but will be noise in the evening. Needs better lighting in the stairs. I would stay again.
Not very happy because hot weather Air condition was not working
first of all, there was no signage of any kind or name plate of the hotel. The taxi driver took one hour and still could not find the hotel. We had ask at least dozen local people in the rainy for the door number and address. At last we found the door. It was unpleasant thad dirty. Local homeless and drunk people were at the entrance. WE got the key from the caretaker. NO front desk no receptionist. Fourth floor of the building. Dirty staircases.Broken doors. Once we got in we had to suffer the indignities, there was no hot water. No internet Wi-Fi connection until next day. next day we had very difficult time. Over all it was a total disaster and we swore we will never do this again. Expedia is getting a bad name for having this at their website.
Anders als erwähnt gabs kein Frühstück.
The location is perfect to get around and very convenient with supermarket and shopping malls. I used the airport pick-up and it was easy. The room is good overall while toilet flush was not working in a consisent way (they promised they fix it).
This apartment was just that, a simple apartment. The location is NOT the address listed of the office (ours was about 3k away). Not attractive on the outside, the apartment was clean and comfortable. All the basics are there and it is very "livable". There is wireless, but we were not given the password and the "flash" heater for the shower could, at best, hit "tepid". Overall, I would consider it again, if only for the price.
Crazy setup. Had to have the cab driver call the offices number, which connected us to a second office, where would have to get the key, which then is totally separate, and takes no responsibility -- gives you whichever appartment they feel like.. We got lucky because I balled them out on the phone (in Russian) before being allocated an apartment. They asked when we would leave before even us getting there.. I said - depends on the place. So they gave us a good place.. beautiful, right up the road from the Bassarabsky Market, in a quiet leafy street with a balcony. Luck.
Great location on Kiev's main shopping street, accessed through amusing red-lit arch of 'Red Lion Cabaret' (totally fine though). Big, well set-up apartment with wi-fi, full kitchen, washing machine, cable channels and a couple of balconies. Don't be freaked out by the building's entrance and lift – the flats are really nice. NB we took the option of airport transfer so we wouldn't have any problems finding the place, which i think is sensible if your Ukrainian/Russian is somewhat rusty. I'd happily stay there again.
Communications were great .. the apartment was not.
Nice location but there was nothing for the normal person .. spoons x 1.. knives x 2.. no microwave and a dirty oven so I guess if you want to eat out then no problems.
Take your own toilet paper and serviettes because when you get there then be ready to go shopping.
We did have nice clean towels .. the sofas are really filthy and also the floors but there were dirty slippers that someone had used for before.
think that the people that manage the place are really trying but the owners do not care ?? ..
The people at kievapartments were really nice (Oxana and the driver) but the apartment was rubbish ..
Typical apartment in Kiev, inside very nice, but the building it's in is old and worn down. Location is best you can get, only 5 minutes walk from Independence Square. Apartment clean and tidy, but a little spartan. Hot tub was regular tub. Sheets for bed too small for the bed. Typical problems in old Soviet area, but nothing too annoying. I will probably stay there next time I go Kiev again, since you cannot beat the location. Also nice people in the office. Taxi service a bit expensive.
. I went to Kiev by train in the morning. I stayed at a different apartment hotel in Kiev. (My normal hotel was full). The apartment interface was very strange. If I was not a self sufficient traveller with some knowledge of Russian and a good familiarity with downtown Kiev, this would have been a very bad experience. First, the place shown on the map in the website is not where the hotel is located. If I would have gone to that address, it would have been useless. I called first because I did not remember seeing any hotel in the area on the map on previous trips. After the second call to the number provided, a lady finally answers. Her English is okay. She texts me an address where I am to go to pick up the key. She also then texts me the street address for the apartment and the entry codes for the doors. I tell the cab driver and he takes me the key address and drops me off. There is a sign in the 2nd floor window for the hotel company. I drag my luggage inside and up the first floor stairs, but there is no "concierge" there. I drag my luggage back outside and go into the courtyard of the building. No luck there either. I finally call the lady I had talked with before and she explains to me the concierge is in the unmarked, little booth I walked past on the first floor. (They might have thought that a person with the luggage may have been there for the hotel).
Anyway, I tell the lady in the booth (in Russian) that I am there for the room. She ends up calling the lady I was conversing with on the phone. She hands me the key. Hmmm… I ask here where the apartment is. She replies it is on Лютерарсьля street (#68). I ask – where is this? There is a map on the wall and she finally finds the street and points to it on the map. I was expected to haul my luggage about half a mile and find this apartment on my own. Two good things – I have a reasonable understanding of Russian and good knowledge of this area of Kiev. If I did not have these two things, it would have been very difficult to find the apartment. Even when I arrived at the adress, the apartment is in the inner courtyard and the apartment address is hidden. It took me another call to the hotel company to locate the entry to the apartment in the courtyard. To entry codes worked, but took many attempts before they would actually open the two doors.
The apartment was sparse and not nearly as nice as would have been indicated by the advertisement. Maybe their "deluxe" apartments are better. Things were old and worn. The bathroom was the worst. I should note, though, that most of the lower cost Kiev apartment hotels are not overly well furnished.
The room was cold – there were two portable space heaters I found in the closet and they managed to warm the apartment up over several hours. This apartment had two great things – high speed internet and its location is very close to the main street in Kiev.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to people with no Russian skills. It is okay if you get past the hotel interface.
This was a furnished apartment in the center of the city so the location was great. It was very quite and peaceful. It had wireless internet, was clean and great for the one night that I was there but could also easily work for a longer stay. I would stay there again.
Apartment exceeded my expectations. It was clean, quiet, and had a modern remodeling. Oksana was gracious and took care of all my needs and concerns.
The company provided a free mobile phone with a local number. The apartment had an office space to work with high speed internet and wifi access. From the front door to the main street was less than 5 minutes walking. Excellent location close to everything I needed.
I was very happy with Kiev apartments and the service and management. Any problems that did occur was handled by management and taken care of quickily. They were very helpful with getting me to and from the airport and made my stay very comfortable.
The location is good (central location) but service had been bad. It ws 0-3 degree (very cold) but there was no hot water supply for two days. I had informed the manager but no body took care. There missing very simple things which every body needs daily (no couch table, no dimlight, neither in Bed room nor in living room,, no wine opener etc.
I will never take this apartment.
