Absolute gem of a hotel.
Pros:

We normally stay at the Sol y mar which is amazing don’t get me wrong but Hotel Porto although much more basic - is what we wanted. It was perfect.
It was clean, the staff were more than helpful. You were greeted with a smile. Nothing was an issue we were offered several rooms as it was not full. They asked what view would like.
It is in the middle of both beaches. Handy for every thing.
We will be returning most likely in May.
Absolute bargain. We were room only.
