Some kind of really bad smell they gave us an air freshener spray thought we could get used to the smell but we didn’t. Used the spray until we fell asleep

I would stay here again, knowing that I need to lower my breakfast expectations.

Cons:

The breakfast was fair. The scrambled eggs didn’t taste like real eggs, and they had an unusual wet taste about them. There was no offering of meat. Some bacon or sausages would have been nice.

Disappointing to say the least

The facilities looked decent

Cons:

The water pressure was not good. I booked through Booking.com, because no prepayment was an option, however, the hotel staff called me requiring that I pay over the phone while traveling to the area. I was informed that it was a "busy weekend" and "booked up". I've never experienced nothing like this before.

Breakfast staff was lovely.

Cons:

The hotel is very dated and didn't feel clean. It's not in a walkable neighborhood. "Near Biltmore" is inaccurate.

Cons:

As with all shotgun hotel suites, window in front and none in living room area.
I realize this is driven by the type of facility that it is, but better lighting in the living area away from the window would sure make it nicer. It seemed to be very low watt bulbs, and while it was clean, it made it a little drab and dreary.
Lighting that would better imitate outside light would be my preference
