Pros:

Our stay was only for one night but we would stay again if we were in the area! Great place. Bed was comfortable, Shower was amazing and they had the best shampoo, conditioner etc.

Cons:

The pool was a little on the cold side and it would be nice to have breakfast included with our stay.

Pros:

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had with Hilton. Arrived at our room approximately 10pm and there was no hot water. We had unpacked and completely naked and they offered no assistance except pack up and move. It’s the hot water heater not the room. Don’t recommend this hotel especially in the winter. Horrible experience!

Felt uncomfortable that I couldn't bathe and felt the facility wasnt prepared
Pros:

Came for grandson graduation and they had only one cook and 2 waitresses for a full dining room. Waited 20 min, then order was wrong. I went to cook and she told me they were doing the best they could and to go sit down! Unbelievable!

Cons:

There was no hot water for shower or basin.
Son's toilet wasn't flushing so they sent him a plunger to do it himself; said they didn't have staff to help!
For $300 a night this is crappy service by any measure.

Perfect spot for game weekend or any visit
Pros:

Had an amazing experience at the Blacksburg Hilton Garden Inn while there for a football game with family. Hotel was well prepared for the rush of a game weekend and is so close to campus and downtown it made getting around super easy.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, including the manager, Robert, who made sure our stay was memorable.
Room was clean and spotless and the made to order breakfast was delicious. Prices were reasonable, too.
Highly recommend for those visiting the school.

Too expensive, not worth the price
Pros:

Breakfast was not free - paid for $300 for a room!!! Terrible coffee downstairs
Location? Close to VTech, but otherwise highway!

Cons:

No sound insulation at all. Anytime somebody walked on the floor above, the ceiling made noise. The elevator was quite a distance away, but still I could hear it.
