Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels

This time around I am not happy. The lady at the front desk is rude. Limited breaksfast. I asked if she could get more oranges. She says we don't have oranges. Im sitting her looking at this man who loaded up his plate with them and a family who also fended them. I asked for yogart. We don't have yogart. They had yagart, she didn't want to get any. I cannot help being diabetic. But what was worse was this man in room 310 using fowl language and threatenening to my 10 year old grandchild and her 9 year old friend. No they shouldnt have ran down the hallway at 9:30 at night. A scolding would have been one thing , but using fowl language and threatening children will not suffice. Front desk did nothing.

I just knew when we got here thursday night trying to get into the doors with the cart and getting stuck with no help and the girls couldnt get in whilst that woman just stared that at them we might have a problem. I told the girls when I get back parking the car and they haven't let you in Im contacting the owner.

Where is the nice man we always had at the front desk?

I am always pleased whenvwe visit New Braunfeks and stay here. Rooms and hotel are always very clean. Close proximity to restaurant and fast food.

The check process us quick and easy. And the checkin last us so very super nice and friendly.

We were in town to celebrate parents anniversary and we loved it! The staff was super friendly and the rooms were clean. The mattress was great compared to other hotels we have been at. The kids loved the pool. Great value for the price and would stay here again.

I was a little worried based on previous ratings, but was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, location close to major roads in the area. Would recommend if looking for a good place to stay while on a budget.

Stunk

Very run down hotel. The bedding was good meaning sheets and towels. Furniture needs some help. Breakfast was sad.
Had to fix the toilet in the middle of the night. A/C works good!

Central location with restaurants within walking distance

Breakfast was not good at all. We thought it was going to be hot eggs and instead got cold boiled eggs that tasted horrible. And i like boiled eggs but that, i don't know what that was. House keeping was great friendly people but the indian front desk lady was eyes on and rushing people out of breakfast area. Oh and don't warm up eggs in the microwave they blow up. Maybe that's why we had eyes on us.

Need to have a better breakfast and start it earlier on Saturday and Sunday. Coffee should be ready by 4 am. Floors were sticky. Rooms with king size beds were kinda cramped .

It was close to downtown which was nice. Our first room that was booked, upon check in was "being renovated". They moved us to another room, the air was off and it was 90 degrees in the room. We turned the air on, went to the desk and the staff was gone and left a note returning later. We left went for an hour, ran into town, came back, the room was still prob 85 degrees. We returned to the desk, the moved us again to a downgraded room, not a suite like purchased. Atleast this one was a little cooler than 80 degrees. We wont return.

The room was minimal but clean. Breakfast was ok but free.

Room has a musty smell

Ants in room. Skip the free breakfast.. yuk. They did clean the room and strip the bed fire next night.Stay and it was okay..
