Marine Village Resort

We visited the first week of October so there were not a lot of people staying at Marine Village. It was quiet. We asked for an upgrade to rooms that faced the lake and they were able to accommodate us for a reasonable price. Everyone from the front desk to the grounds workers were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms and grounds were very clean and well kept. I have a lower score on services because they did not come clean our rooms o e day and I had to go get clean towels myself but The cleaning lady was nice about it and they didn’t miss anymore days after that.

The night staff was very accommodating when we realized we had no screen on our window and the A/C stunk. They switched us to a new room and it was 100% better. I really liked the outdoor space (beach, kayak, play area) and how we were within walking distance of a lot of shops and restaurants. I think the pictures made it look like the all rooms were separate cabins when in reality there were only one or two like that. The rest were just like a motel.

Great location

The new gas firepit was a hit with the kids. Someone was always available to turn it on for us. Pool was heated. Great location. This was our 6th time here and will definitely go back.

Stayed here for a weekend trip and it was perfect. You have access to the beach, it’s close to attractions and restaurants

Great location

We had a great five nights at Marine Vilage Resort in August. The room and grounds were very clean and well maintained, especially for a lakefront motel with a beach. The beach and swimming area were very accessible and with the playground and swimming pool, it made for a great place for kids to play and enjoy. The fire pits were nice at night to sit around. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a very good overall location with so much of the area within easy walking distance.

We're staying in Marine Village every year. The best location in town, close to everything, nice private beach, clean and comfortable rooms. Looking forward to staying there again!

The location was perfect! We were able to swim in Lake George at their private beach, swim in the pool, play ping pong and sit ariund the fire pit at njgnt. We walked to gift shops, dinner and the arcade. There is no reason to get back in your car, which we love. We can’t wait to return next summer!

Cute place to stop on road trip to see Lake George. Family oriented. Felt like stepping back in time in an old motel but super clean. Right on lake, easy walk to town.

Staff was very hospitable

Marine Village never disappoints. It’s the best location on Lake George. The rooms are clean and there have been updates to the property since our last stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is right at the start of the downtown strip so it’s close to the shops and restaurants. It has a great beach area and pool. If I had to pick a negative the water pressure in the showers is very low but overall a great vacation spot!

We stayed in room 53 the curtain was broken didn’t close all the way , the shower head pressure is very low. The only complaint was the floor in our room was dirty our feet were always black. Overall we had a great experience the beds were comfortable, the outdoor patio is great. The views are amazing. Accessibility to the pool and lake are a walk away. Grounds are well kept and clean. We will be returning next summer.

To pricey,could of got another hotel much cheaper.The rooms was small ,at 1am my kids smelled a burnt smell in the room could be the tv maybe it overheated,the water in the tub was taking to long to go down.
