For a short quick stay i think this place is reasonably to be at for a few nights. Unfortunately though I don't agree that this place is a 4star hotel but a 3star. Staff are quite friendly. Rooms have a smelly odor such as urine. The showers arent covered, water splashes everywhere especially since the water pressure is super high even the sink as well. It is a nice convenient area and if you dont mind at least a 15min walk to central world.
Nice stay
A beautiful apartment hotel with spacious rooms with wonderful views!
The service is very nice and helpful.
The hotel is located very centrally so easy to reach metro, busses and the Lumphini park. Opposite of the hotel you will find various cafes, different restaurants and a supermarket! We love to stay here!
It was an overall good experience.
This place was amazing. I was a mess trying to book tickets from Bangkok to Chiang Mai and the stewardess helped me not once but two times with making reservations
This property is in very bad shape and should be taken down until they fix the black mold problem. Is is all over the property, inside and out.
Here is not 4 stars hotel. It is old and real place doesnt look as same as in photos. Room is smelly and has mosqutios. There are bed bugs ( I feel ichy when I am on bed ) I will not go back there again for sure.
Not recommend here to anyone. Once is enough.
I honestly wish I had more good things to say about my stay with Luxx Hotel, but it was a miserable experience. While the staff was so kind and friendly, the accommodations were atrocious. There was mold all over in my hotel room and it had an accompanying smell that made it difficult to breathe normally. Additionally, the shower did not work and sprayed in three different directions. There was no noise buffer between rooms and you can easily hear people open and close their balcony door (which can be closed with a VERY loud bang that woke me up at several points each night throughout my stay). There was no AC in my room, and while it wasn’t overbearingly hot, it was not cool enough to sleep in. The WiFi was spotty and did not work so I was unable to attend work calls and as a remote worker, this was a huge problem. The hotel is down an alleyway which did not make me feel safe as a solo female traveler and the whole hotel looked just rather run down. After the first night of my stay I couldn't stand the smell and the front desk so kindly let me upgrade rooms with no charge, which I greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the toilet had trouble flushing, there was no hot water, and the balcony didn't seal so there were mosquitos everywhere and I woke up with countless bites. I really hate to leave bad reviews, but this was truly a horrendous stay, and I would HIGHLY recommend you look for accommodations elsewhere — this is NOT a luxury hotel, and I would not stay here again.
Mattress way too hard.
Studio room had connecting door to adjacent studio. Was not soundproof and I heard conversations from adjacent guests as if they were inside my room.
No apology when I checked out after one of my two booked nights. I forfeited the cost of the second night to change hotels to somewhere I could sleep soundly on my final night in Bangkok before an early fight.
Have stayed here many times before for over 15 years but this was the worst stay ever.
Rooms small , balcony really small -- Shower no matter you do water gets all over the floor . Bell guys were very nice . They had a bar but you could hot order a drink & take to room ( crazy)
Also charged me for laundry ---- When i checked in I ask about laundry , she miss understood , they showed the washing machine , I said no I want someone to wash it , so she told me a company down the street so I took it there --- but at checkout they had a laundry service charge on my bill - I told the lady she made a mistake I did not use , I used the service down the street --- But she was insistent on still charging us , we had a plane to catch so We paid , it was not much but its the principle of it ! This is a very nice area of Bangkok to stay in.
Looks really great in the photos. Unfortunately the hotel property hasn't aged well. I think they were going for a sleek modern vibe at the conception of the idea. Hotel staff is friendly. When we first got here the A/C was not working for our room. Maintenance fixed it while we went to exchange money and get food. However, A/C has not stopped running since we got here. Room is an icebox. Can’t complain because it was very hot outside, but it did get kind of uncomfortable after being in the room for extended periods of time.
Left the hotel at 8am returned at 2:30pm and housekeeping had not gotten to our room yet. The day before I spilled pad thai all over the sheets. Stain was very noticeable. Housekeeping did not change the sheet just remade the bed.
Beds were extremely hard, no padding at all.
The lighting in the room was horrible. We had every light on and it still felt so dark.
The wifi connection in the hotel was extremely spotty.
Honestly just an average hotel. Not too far to the train stations if you are a walker. About 15-20 mins. But in the spring/summer heat, expect to be dripping sweat by the time u make it to the station.
Excellent location. Helpful staff.
Stayed 10 years ago and the premises have taken a beating. A spruce up would be in order.
Great staff
Over all it was a good stay. They seemed to be having construction so there were strong smells. There were small things that needs some attention. But for the cost and location. I would stay here again. Rooms are big and the corner room had wraparound windows.
It was OK. Comfortable. Some things to be aware of:
1. There is no restaurant at the hotel.
2. It has one tiny elevator.
3. There are no shower curtains around the shower and bathtub. So when you shower or bathe, you will wet the floor.
We picked the Luxx Langsuan for our first two night's in Bangkok after arriving from the UK. We'd largely selected it due to having stayed 8 years ago and loving the place on our prior trip.
Sadly the hotel hasn't aged well and looks well past it's best, the room was comfortable enough, but the overall state of the property was in very poor. Stains on the walls, leaking air-conditioners, frayed carpets and a general sense of disrepair in the communal areas.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly as they had been on our previous trip and allowed us to check-in early after an overnight flight.
The hotel has real potential and is well situated for Lumphini Park just to the South, but it desperately needs a revamp and it would be great to see it brought back up to it's former standards.
Great location
The LUXX is a really nice apartment hotel in an easy to access neighborhood. I was surprised at the size of the room, the kitchenette, and lounge space. The pool was refreshing. The hotel needs a little love, but I think it is quite suitable for a short-medium stay.
Hotel was average. Location was a bit off the beaten path. There are two metro stops nearby but both are approximately 30 minutes walk. There are a variety of restaurants nearby. The facility itself is showing its age and in need of attention. The room was clean, linens were nice quality and clean. While our room was insulated from street noise we found it to be a bit noisy from guests in the adjoining room.Staff was friendly and as helpful as possible given the language barrier. The pool was a nice relief after a day of wandering through Bangkok.
