Puri Saron Seminyak

Been staying at the Puri Saron Seminyak a couple of times a year since 2009
During these times have found the staff to be happy, engaging , energetic and willing to assist in any circumstance be it guests or within the staff group.
This visit was no different

Negatives

Everything is old and dated. Bed was hard and uncomfortable and made a lot of noise. Shower curtain had mould all over it shower was terrible. Don’t use the laundry services as it is 4 times what the cost should be Breakfast was sub par. No service around the pool. Food was not good at the restaurant

Positives

Massage was good and reasonable priced.
Cocktails from the pool bar were good and reasonable priced.

Great accomodation close to the beach with lots of activity options nearby. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Only downside I had was that tap water is salty and unpleasant when cleaning teeth or washing your mouth.

Beware.
Puri Saron is a very sad case of a good thing gone very bad.
If it hadn’t been for the magnificent staff doing their best to keep this worn and weary place afloat I would have definitely jumped ship.
Shame, shame shame on the owners who have refused to acknowledge a barrage of maintenance issues from plumbing to pool maintenance to a lack of cutlery at a miserable breakfast, to stained and worn towels from the rag bag of the 80’s.
Shut down and start again.

Have just returned . Very average. So disappointed as it's in a great area. Rooms were OK but bathrooms very poor. Not always hot water and the water is so salty. The buffet breakfast was awful. One morning there was mouldy bread. Tried it twice but opted for much better options elsewhere. The pool had green all the way around the bottom. Such a pity as the area is fantastic and the grounds are beautiful. Wouldn't stay there again

liked this resort..excellent pool facilities..room service good..but sometimes a little late in day for cleaning..but always willing to listen to what is needed,,close to shopping ..food..and walkable..would recommend..

Absolutely disgusting .

Shower had no hot water.
Shower bar coming out of wall rusted and loose.
Stained towels.
Mattress stained and left in 3rd floor lobby for 3 days.
No atmosphere near pool.
Can't charge to your room from pool ,unless you left money at reception which they never told us on arrival.We were booked for 7 nights left after 2 and booked at another hotel ,they never gave us a refund either .Air con only went down to 18c did not feel cool at all.Will never recommend this hotel to anyone .

I was absolutely horrified to see how disgusting and filthy the bed linen was on our bed
Mouldy mattress , very stained sheets , pillows and doona cover . Filth. !

The location is great and the Balinese staff lovely but that’s about it. We stayed in the family villa the hot water didn’t work, toilets wouldnt flush. Gekkos and ants in the room. Sheets had stains on them bath didn’t work and I could go on. The breakfast was revolting and flies were all over it save your money and stay anywhere else.

We had an okay stay. The room itself was clean and fine and the location is good, close to the beach. The outside of the hotel and the grounds look good however the inside corridors look poor. Old mattresses were stored in the corridors and looked awful. The breakfast was not great as we are vegan and there is no choice apart from fruit. The breakfast items are not labelled for dietaries at all , so we went elsewhere for the remaining days. The staff are nice however so for the price we cant complain too much.

Well priced centrally located hotel on beachfront in Seminyak. Older style hotel that needs some TLC but overall very happy with our large room and the value for the location. Staff were very friendly.

Love this traditional property great pool area

I loved my stay here. Great location, it was close to the beach and shops. The staff are lovely and very friendly. Breakfast had a great selection. The resort offers room service. Loved the pool and swim up bar. The rooms are spacious, but the beds are very hard!

I have had ants in my room for a long time and they are everywhere, in the bathroom, on the wall, in my clothes, IN MY BED. They ruined my clothes and the hotel just keeps sending housekeeping to change the linen. I also have Gekko and many other insects in my room. Bathroom also has a smell that won't go away. The hotel dosent do anything about it except sending housekeeping to "fix" it but they never do. The personal is very nice but they don't fix the problems guest has and dosent take a problem seriously enough.

Incredible staff. I got very, very sick, they went over and above helping me, even giving me a temporary room whilst waiting for my airport transfer after checkout.
The place was great, but this is the kind of thing you need when travelling solo, can't recommend the place and people enough

WiFi didn’t work, tv hardly worked, door jammed 5 times before we finally got it fixed, 120 Norwegian students staying there and took up all the chairs at pool!! They bought nothing from resort had it all bought in!! Restaurant food crap! No one ate there

On the good side pool was awesome and staff beyond helpful.

Rated 4 star would rate 3 and good for a cheap Bali visit
