Prima hotel voor een tussen stop
Pros:

Het oogt luxe maar is wel een beetje gedateerd als je goed oplet. Grote schone kamers. Zwembad is prettig en prima gym. Het personeel is heel aardig en behulpzaam.

Cons:

Het eten is matig. We hadden een buffet maar het vlees van de plaat was heel vet en dun. Zelfde nacht allemaal nog diarree. Douchekraan moest in onderhoud. Ging snacht vanzelf aan en maakte een harde monotoon geluid.

Super fijn hotel in Medan
Pros:

Top hotel in hartje Medan. Pluspunt waren de connected rooms, goede bedden, fijne zwembad, het restaurant (heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt) en de vriendelijke service.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Aryaduta, and I appreciate the hospitality provided by the team. This was my second stay at the hotel, and I would be happy to return again in the future. However, I would like to share a few points of feedback that may help improve the guest experience further.

Firstly, the facility maintenance could be improved. For example, the washroom door in the room I stayed in could not be locked. I informed someone at the reception on the morning of the 18th, but when I returned to the room, the issue had still not been resolved.

Secondly, the service timeline for food orders could be better managed. After 10 PM, while I was relaxing near the pool, I ordered a club sandwich and was informed that it would take around 20 minutes. However, it was only served after more than an hour, and only after I reminded one of the kitchen staff.

Lastly, I would like to suggest having a separate or dedicated space for spa services, especially for foot massages. This could provide guests with a more comfortable and relaxing experience.

I hope this feedback is taken positively, as I genuinely enjoyed my stay and believe these improvements would further enhance the overall guest experience.

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff
Pros:

Pool was fantastic - and available through into the evening. Breakfast was very good, with lots of choice and a variety of places to sit. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel had a good atmosphere. This is a hotel which serves beer (not all do!). It is a short walk to the colonial street where there are restaurants.

Cons:

Breakfast dishes could be labelled better for vegetarians.

Good location and nice facilities
Pros:

Good sized room, good bathroom, huge choice at breakfast - like ridiculously huge choice. Good location, 10 / 15 min walk from shopping centre. They suffered a bit when we arrived as one of the power cuts that Medan is known happened - this seemed to cause a little confusion and I would have hoped they would have smoother plans in place for when this happens being as its a regular occurence. Friendly and helpful staff though. Good pool and functional gym with everything you might need in it. Helpful with bag storage until we could access our rooms due to delays caused by power cut.....

Refill please!
Pros:

The food is quite good. But some food are running out & they takes time to refill it (like bakso, lontong & shredded chicken for porridge). Need improvement in this! Also we can't ask hot latte/cappucino for free (only black coffee)

Flot poolområde. Godt indrettede værelser.

Cons:

Meget larmende og dårligt fungerende aircondition.
En dårlig lugt på gangene og værelserne.
Plettet sengetøj og snavsede borde til morgenbuffeten.
Meget langsom servering, da vi bestilte nogle drikkevarer om aftenen.
OBS: der står man gerne må bade i bikini i poolen, men ingen gjorde det (alle havde halve ærmer/bukser på).
