Exactly what i expected at the price point. Get breakfast included.

Nice size and good pool

Cons:

Needed some maintenance attention, which they seem to be doing. Breakfast needs more options that are not spicy or deep fried. But overall varied selection. Cannot drink the tap water, but they provide some daily. We drink a lot of water, so we bought a big 15Liter at the mall, cost about $1.20, lasted for a week. I would stay again for the price.

Cons:

La cosa peggiore di tutte è stato il ristorante. Abbiamo voluto provare una sera per nostra comodità ma nonostante mangiassimo alla carta la metà di quello che volevamo ordinare non lo avevano. Quando finalmente (tempi biblici) ci hanno portato il cibo,lo stesso era di pessima qualità e malamente cucinato. L hotel è datato, marmi, moquette, bagni vecchi e nei corridoi dell hotel una musichetta tremenda. Non mi viene assolutamente da consigliarlo, la mia stanza al piano terra sembrava una prigione, buia e angusta

Will definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Loman Park is my go to every time we visit Yogyakarta. It feels like home. The complex is huge with a spa, gym, and a huge outdoor garden. It is located near many eateries and cafes. Malioboro is a short car ride away. The room is not the newest but always feel clean and homey. Staffs and services are top notch.

“Grandes instalaciones, habitaciones decepcionantes”
Pros:

El hotel es muy grande y se nota que en su momento debió ser un hotelazo. Las zonas comunes son muy bonitas y están bastante bien, especialmente la piscina, que nos encantó. El gimnasio también nos sorprendió para bien, ya que está muy bien equipado para ser el gimnasio de un hotel. El desayuno fue espectacular, tanto por la variedad como por la calidad. Además, el personal fue uno de los grandes puntos positivos de nuestra estancia: todos fueron muy amables, atentos y serviciales.

Cons:

La principal decepción fueron las habitaciones, que están bastante deterioradas y necesitan una renovación. Habíamos solicitado expresamente una habitación para no fumadores y, al entrar, olía muchísimo a tabaco y a humedad. Pedimos que nos cambiaran de habitación y la segunda también tenía un fuerte olor a humedad, aunque menos a tabaco, además de ser más pequeña.

Finalmente nos quedamos con la primera habitación y, al regresar por la noche, comprobamos que una de las paredes y parte del techo estaban claramente afectados por la humedad. Incluso tuvimos la sensación de que la ropa de nuestras maletas estaba húmeda debido al ambiente de la habitación. Además, el olor a tabaco terminó siendo mucho más intenso de lo que parecía inicialmente.

El mantenimiento y la limpieza también fueron mejorables: las toallas estaban muy usadas y deshilachadas, algunas con manchas; encontramos alguna mancha en las sábanas; la puerta del baño estaba deteriorada en la parte inferior y el baño no estaba correctamente limpio. En las fotos se aprecia especialmente la suciedad en la parte inferior del inodoro.

Por último, la accesibilidad nos pareció mejorable. El hotel tiene bastantes escaleras y no encontramos ningún ascensor, algo especialmente incómodo para desplazarse con maletas pesadas.

En general, las instalaciones comunes y el personal son muy buenos, pero el estado de las habitaciones está claramente por debajo del nivel que cabría esperar de un hotel de estas características.

Not as great as it used to be

The location is quite central and nearby some local eateries, big universities and close proximity to Malioboro/Keraton

Cons:

The new management seems to lack the understanding of maintaining the cleanliness. It used to be a charming old hotel with charming rooms and the cleanliness was top notch. Now we face several issues throughout our stay: The toilet did not flush and when it did, it took some puzzling to stop flushing, there were ants in the bathroom, they didn’t clean the room when we requested them to, the old room has these old lamps above the nightstands and they are very dusty and almost full of webs.

Prachtig statig maar ietwat gedateerd hotel
Pros:

De ambiance van het hotel was authentiek Javaans, oude koloniale stijl. Als je binnenkomt is de hal en ruimte gigantisch. Kamers ook in die stijl gebouwd, wel wat gedateerd. Zwembad in de binnentuin met daarboven de bar is heerlijk. Ontbijtbuffet genoeg en lekker. Onwijs vriendelijke mensen werken er. Locatie is goed, met Grab ben je snel bij de highlights.

Cons:

Zoals ik al zei, de kamer is wat gedateerd. Badkamer wordt een waterballet na douchen. Het behang in de kamer is verouderd..Wat weinig bedjes bij het zwembad
