Room was not ready when we checked in at 5:00 pm. Housekeeping was severely backed up. Room we got had a duck tapped air conditioner, blinds that were falling apart, and a bathroom where the caulk around the bathtub was coming out and moldy.
Cleanliness
Black shade didn't unravel, needed force to flush toilet.
Needs upgrades, old dingy.
Bed uncomfortable
Comfortable clean room. Accessibility to main roads. Terrific breakfast. Seamless and quick check in and out.
No guide or instructions for television. Pillows too soft.
I had a very poor experience staying at this hotel.
I arrived Wednesday night and was assigned a room on the third floor. After walking all the way down the long hallway with all of my luggage, I discovered my room key didn't work. I had to walk all the way back to the front desk to get it reprogrammed, only to return to my room and find that it still didn't work. After making a second trip back to the front desk with all of my bags, I was finally able to get into my room.
By the time I got settled, it was around 11:00 p.m. I noticed ants around the area by the refrigerator, but because I had to leave at 5:00 a.m. the next morning for work at McGuire AFB, I decided to just get some sleep and ask to switch rooms the following day.
When I returned from work Thursday afternoon, I requested to move to a different room because of the ants. The front desk staff was very kind and gave me a new room key. Unfortunately, after walking back up to the third floor, that key didn't work either. I had to make multiple trips back and forth between the third floor and the front desk, and even after receiving a third key, I still couldn't get into the room.
Maintenance came to help and believed he had fixed the door. However, after I started moving my belongings from my original room into the new one, I became locked out again. While trying to finish moving my things, I went back to my original room to get the food I had stored in the refrigerator and found ants crawling all over my food and throughout the inside of the refrigerator. It was absolutely disgusting.
I want to acknowledge that the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and the maintenance technician was also helpful and did his best to resolve the issues. My frustration is not with them—they were both professional and courteous. However, between the repeated room key failures, the constant trips back and forth with my luggage, the door issues, and the ant infestation that contaminated my food, this was an unacceptable experience. Unfortunately, I will never stay at this hotel again.
Employees very friendly and helpful at the front desk.
Rust in the shower
good
very good
nice
The hotel was lovely! The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was good, with several choices. As a person with some mobility issues, I was pleased to have access to a room with a shower, not a bathtub. The shower was wonderful, but the floor outside the shower was VERY SLIPPERY when wet. Going by appearances, I wouldn't think that would be the case. It didn't look like it would be slippery, but it was. I was able to solve the problem by putting a towel on the floor outside the shower, and suggest anyone else with this type of shower arrangement do the same.
The room was equipped with a "doorbell" connected to a light, for those with hearing impairments, so that was nice to see.
If I'm in the area again, I will definitely stay here.
Nothing
We’ve stayed here before. Stayed again for the indoor pool. This time the water was very cold. Very disappointing. The pool was the reason we came back to this hotel. My 2.5 yr old grandson wanted to swim but it was way too cold. My other big complaint was the sheets were so beat up they had those little balls all over them. It was extremely uncomfortable. I was unable to sleep. The pillows were completely flat. Even the appearance of the bed when we walked in. The blanket had many pulls all over it. You’d think for over $200/ night you could at least get some decent linens. I’ve stayed there a couple times prior but I I will never go back there again.
The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly.
There's nothing my wife and I didn't like.
Convenient location for me
N/A
Clean and spacious rooms with ample free parking, conveniently located close to the highway. The area is calm and quiet. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, though we didn’t try them as we arrived late.
The breakfast is decent and includes a live counter, and the staff are very helpful.
Nothing.
That’s very nice and well spoken.
Everything about it was wonderful
