The worst part was that the lamp above my bed was not fastened to the bed frame properly and had exposed electrics - i touched it thinking there was glass in front, looking for the power switch, and got shocked while in bed - that was very dodgy.

There were some dirty elements (hair dryer had brown smidges on it that would be easy to wipe away if staff ever cleaned it) and there were some marks on the wall near the door.

On our first evening, the shower had no warm water, so I had to have a freezing cold one instead. Staff said it was a temporary problem, at it was fixed later that same evening.

The elevator was out of order one afternoon too, while someone was servicing it. The elevator only comfortably fits two, but three could be in it if you don't mind standing very close together.

The wifi wasn't very fast, and we could only have 3 devices on it (the 3 of us each had a phone, but couldn't activate the wifi on our laptop too after signing in on our phones).

The fridge is small and impractical, as you have to almost sit on the floor to use it.

There weren't many available power sockets (2 altogether, and one of them - on the hair dryer - didn't work). We resorted to unplugging a lamp under the desk to have two functioning sockets.

Walls were pretty thin, we could hear our neighbors making quite a lot of noise one afternoon/evening.

Une très grosse déception – service et confiance inexistants
Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel trois nuits, du 29 juillet au 1er août, pour un montant total de 688,68 €, soit 229,56 € la nuit. Ce n’est clairement pas une somme négligeable pour trois nuits et cela laisse légitimement espérer un certain niveau de service.
À notre départ, nous avons malheureusement oublié dans la chambre un flacon de parfum Hugo Boss neuf, d’une valeur de plus de 130 €. Nous nous en sommes rendu compte rapidement et avons immédiatement cherché à le récupérer. Comme nous étions déjà rentrés et habitons loin, un ami pouvait venir le chercher.
L’hôtel nous a demandé que ce soit la personne ayant effectué la réservation qui fasse la demande. Je l’ai donc faite par mail. Aucune réponse. J’ai ensuite dû appeler. On m’a indiqué que rien n’avait été retrouvé et, après avoir insisté, on m’a promis une vérification auprès de la gouvernante et du personnel d’entretien le lundi, ainsi qu’un rappel.
Personne ne m’a rappelée.
Une semaine plus tard, j’ai donc dû reprendre moi-même contact avec l’hôtel. Réponse définitive : rien n’avait été trouvé.
Mais au-delà du parfum perdu, c’est surtout la façon dont le client est traité qui est extrêmement décevante. Puisque le personnel disait ne rien avoir trouvé, j’ai clairement eu le sentiment que ma parole était mise en doute. En résumé : puisque leurs employés n’avaient rien trouvé, ma version semblait forcément ne pas être crédible.
Nous avons pourtant séjourné dans plusieurs hôtels cet été et nous n’avons jamais eu la moindre raison de signaler fictivement un objet oublié.
À 688,68 € pour trois nuits, nous pensions choisir un établissement dans lequel nous pouvions avoir confiance. Malheureusement, nous avons surtout découvert qu’en cas de problème, il ne fallait apparemment pas compter sur le service client.
Aucun rappel, aucune véritable recherche de solution, aucun geste commercial, aucune prise en considération de notre situation.

I missed having a power outlet to charge my phone next to the bed. There was only one outlet in the room, which was for the mini-fridge.

Le comportement du personnel du petit déjeuner est tres décevant et mal poli

The air conditioning vents were covered in mould so we didn’t use them as this would just spread spores into the air. Not ideal to sleep in. Therefore we had to have the doors open to keep cool during the heatwave. However there is a very loud night club open very late. We didn’t sleep much.
