Overall maintenance was poor. Website said it was recently upgraded but bathroom was in poor shape. Shower faucet would not stop dripping. No stopper in the sink. Very noisy air conditioning system. No in room safe.

Bad management!
Pros:

After asking for a split charge for our room, the front desk associate mangled the transaction so badly that it took us three days to straighten it out. After arrival and being charged incorrectly, we were phoned (at midnight) to come down to the desk. we were sleeping. we were then charged again overnight in error. when asking for a manager we were told no managers are available. that request happened sat, sun and mon with no return of call until Tuesday.

i find it interesting that after causing so many issues with our payments, the only phone call came after I wrote a bad review. typical. pacifying guests while not understanding the issue is deliberate and insulting. the problem was the billing, but the bigger problem was no one to resolve the issue or have any idea of what they were doing.

EXTREMELY SATISFIED
Pros:

Very clean; staff went above and beyond to help anyway they could including helping me to stall my future son-in-law in the lobby while my daughter went to the room to prepare for their proposal!! It was phenomenal!! The room was spacious and the bathroom probably one of the nicest I’ve EVER seen in a hotel room!! The bed comfy and the pillows extraordinary!! Thanks Hampton and staff—we were extremely satisfied!! 💜

Cold shower
Pros:

This hotel doesn’t at all look renovated. They have old heating and cooling unit…
I had a problem with water not staying hot, so was mostly cold..
I told front desk and they offered $10 toward my bill..which I wasn’t happy with should have been more.
The management wouldn’t come out and address..

Lots of issues!
Pros:

When arriving in the evening we were told the elevators were down. No first floor rooms were available so we waitied until the surly repairman came grumbling about working all day and having to come out after hours. There were several other guests with handicaps (as well as us) waiting for the repair. He finally got it working and we headed up.
When trying the shower, the valve spun round and it took some effort to get hot water. Then after showering, the valve wouldn't turn off at all. There was caulk gooped up all around the valve cover. Obviously it had been worked on in the past. There were also dirty footprints around the shower area and nasty caulk/mold in the shower. In the morning we found that the elevators were both down again and we had to haul out luggage down the stairwell. The breakfast was good.

Pros:

Not the best Hampton inn Not much hot water, refrigerator didn’t work , no trash can in bathroom. When we arrived the room was missing ironing board and hair dryer but were replaced when we asked. All little things that make up a comfortable stay. Not there.
