This is an older hotel that could use some cleaning up. There were a few areas in the room that could have been cleaner especially in the bathroom. There were stains on the carpet and the sofa. We had a king suite. The bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was good as is usually the case with Comfort Suites. The areas in need of extra cleaning attention were pointed out at checkout and the attendant made note of such for the staff.
It was in a really good location. Very close to the beach and the town proper. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast had a decent amount of options. The room was spacious and big.
The location was perfect for our occasion. The breakfast bar has a small variety and is well worth its value. The hotel overall looked and smelled clean. Anything I brought up to staff was addressed immediately and resolved well.
I don't like the room inspection process and feel that there should be people to inspect each room for defects. We had 2 issues that should have been caught before we got there. The first defect was obvious and addressed within an hour. The other wasn't noticed until we were leaving and staff were made aware.
It was small, quaint and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We defined would stay again.
We could hear the floor creaking above us. We were on the second floor.
The sofa bed looked like it came from a thrift store, dirty arms and cushions. Other than that the room was very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay and slept well.
Clean place, nice sized rooms, loved the whirlpool room! Friendly staff, good location with eating places, Walmart, and Dollar Generals very close.

You could hear when the rooms around were showering/flushing the toilet, walking, closing doors. A lot of noise.
Room was Nice and bed comfortable.
The guy at the front desk was asked if they had stoppers for the tub. He said no just shove a washcloth in the hole. As a heavy set person (Glen) seemed disinclined to get up to meet our needs so made it very impersonal. When asked a question he didn't seem to know any answers just saying the owners didn't want to have stoppers for the tub. His impersonal and customer service was also seen in his treatment of others as well as to us. I would think the owners would like to see and know this.
We didn't eat the breakfast.
The coffee pot in the bathroom is a bit unsanitary to see.
