Categories

Cleanliness
9.9
Multiple reviewers repeatedly praise rooms and facility as very clean and well maintained; a few isolated reports of nasty rooms or leaks are exceptions.
Service
9.5
Staff frequently described as friendly and helpful (assisted with handicap shower, welcoming), though there are occasional service lapses (housekeeper entering unexpectedly, fire-alarm incidents).
Location
9
Generally described as convenient and near restaurants/points of interest; a few comments note it isn't near the water or that parking up front is competitive.
Room Quality
8.2
Many guests found beds comfortable and rooms spacious/clean; some issues reported include firm beds (personal preference), old shower heads, leaking ceiling in one stay, occasional smells or damaged fixtures.
Amenities
6.2
Several concrete amenity problems: spotty/unstable internet, pool heating/filter issues, TV/remote quirks, and a recently fixed elevator — overall below expectations.
Value for Money
9.2
Multiple reviewers called the property good value or reasonable rate; positive perceptions of space and cleanliness support strong value ratings despite some service/food issues.
Food and Beverage
6
Recurring criticisms about breakfast quality (runny or poorly cooked eggs, undercooked sausage, unappealing breakfast meat, old-tasting juices); occasional positive notes about hot breakfast exist but overall negative.
Overall Experience
10
Majority of stays described as pleasant, comfortable, or 'amazing' with many repeat guests and recommendations; a minority of severe negative experiences (internet failure, room moves, leaks) exist but overall sentiment is highly positive.

Fine
Pros:

All good except for internet difficulties.

Cons:

The internet connect was difficult and spotty at times. I checked out there and checked into the Comfort Inn in Pascagoula, MS. No internet connection sent me to McDonald. I was moved 3 times to different rooms, the last time with water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom. So far, my worst hotel experience ever. I booked a weeks stay in Marrero a New Orleans suburb, starting on Oct 31st to Nov 6th. All the points I have been racking up won’t entice me to continue using Choice/Comfort Suites if the Internet hassles continue. You are on the verge of losing a good customer.

Nice place to stay!
Pros:

The staff was friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

This is just a personal preference! Most people like a good firm bed. I personally like a little more softness. I understand that a firm bed will last longer.
