Hotel Nandan

Old property and rooms need upgrade..however food and service was good.

Booked room not available, was offered a twin double which was rejected as it smelled of smoke, finally given another double twin that was acceptable.

After that the stay was good with great service.

The working of the manager of Lords Bar is very poor. Waist of money and time to visit this place. I had not completed my drink and paid full. They providing complimentary item with drink like they are obliging you. If you ask them to serve it again they will deny.

Recently we celebrated birthday party in la vista in Nandan hotel .

Food quality is by far the best in guwhati
Hotel staff and attitude again is better than most of the 5 star.

I am thankful to Nandan hotel and team for such a wonderful hospitality.

Staff, aĺl very helpful but room very smokey smell. They are happy to move me to a non-smoking room.

My Experience was very bad in hotel Nandan , i had stay on 12th of march 2024 in room no. 413
One of my video conferencing on 13th of march at 11:00am and i was busy in meeting & continuously hotel phone bell was ringing and somebody was working on roof making a constant disturbing noise of thak , thak thak & i pick land line phone i told him i am in a meeting please don’t disturb me, and that call was meant for me to check out of hotel at 11 am only.
I finished my meeting, packed my bag and forgot my I phone charger in such a hurry, when i called back i was given a negative response of its loss. He simply said “charger to yahan nahi”. Very uncooperative staff
Very bad experience
Never stay again in hotel Nandan.
My suggestion chose any other hotel like radisson blue and other good hotels in Guwahati.

Felix room are too small cramped poorly done. Basic hygiene and room ambiance far below the level than expected at the cost they charge.

Amazing place for stay n conference. Food, service, location, proximity to Railway station, Bus Station, city Mkts etc makes it a best choice for conference. Room has all basic amenities. Breakfast menu was good. Nice restaurant serving great choice of snacks, deinks and food. Their Biryani was one of the best I have ever had. More surprisingly, it was tasting better in this Far East City then some of the known cities serving it.

Visited Hotel Nandan after 34 years very pleasant stay comfortable excellent food at the restaurant specially their Sizzler’s & Carmel Custard were just amazing. The fruit basket and their hotel baked cookies too were very fresh and good in the room. Courteous Staff. Their saloon & spa B Blunt was a welcome addition did visit and was impressed by their quality & courteous
Service. I would certainly stay at Nandan on my next visit highly recommended.

I had a great stay at Hotel Nandan in Guwahati, Assam. The hotel offered an impressive variety of global cuisine, ensuring a delightful dining experience. I highly recommend Hotel Nandan for its fantastic food and convenient salon.

Very Neat Rooms . The best part is there fruit basket and there hotel baked cookies in the room . 24 hours room service. Excellent food quality. Courteous Staff. Food is very good quality better than a 5 star hotel. Must stay and enjoy there thai cuisine and caramel Custard.

I was little tired so there B Blunt staff services were excellent, enjoyed the pedicure and manicure and ofcourse Hair Spa was so relaxing .

One of the best food experiences I have ever had have been at Hotel Nandan. While I was there, I had special dietary requirements and the staff made sure that they gave me various delicious options everyday for my meals.
They took extra care of taking into account what ingredients I could and could not eat, and specially prepared meals for me accordingly.
I usually have to make do with the two or three items I can eat at a restaurant, but at Hotel Nandan they made sure that I could request for whatever I wanted and they would do their best to make that.
The food was absolutely delicious, the staff goes above and beyond to make you happy and the interiors are beautiful.
Would definitely recommend everyone to stay here whenever they are in Guwahati.

It is always a pleasure to come back to Nandan. Excellent hospitality starting from reception, quick check in, clean room, pleasant staffs all around. The restaurant is well stocked for food & drinks. Breakfast is plenty with a touch of homely insistence

During my recent visit to the city, I had lunch in this hotel with my friends and found the quality of food to be quite good. Many years ago, I had also stayed in this hotel. Being centrally located in the business area of the city, the hotel seems to be quite popular.

Pros 1) prime location of paltan bazar
2) Good overall ambience
3) well dressed staff
4) Clean average size room and washroom

Cons 1) slightly overpriced probably due to prime location
2) smoky lobby ...very irritating
3) excess perfume in room ...again irritating
4) Complimentary drinking water is limited.. pay for extra water
5) The IR Card key not working
6) Sound of quarrelling staff with probably supervisor
7) housekeeping, staff, goods, passenger lift seems all common ..
8) Charged 30/- for a near expiry bourbon with MRP 10/-

I had stayed in Hotel Nandan a number of times with my husband and children. every time i had found the reception very cordial.
however, this time, there was nobody greeting or welcoming or even looking our way. i had to force my way and inform that i had a reservation.. the people at the reception counter did not bother to take our photo until i pointed out.

there are one or two staff who are bent on tiffs.

while there was nobody to welcome us when we arrived, there werre so many to help us out with the hope of getting some tiff.

we had supper in the Trans-curry restaurant and i found the dahi vadha to be most unsavory in my entire experience of eating dahi vadhas.

we also found some hair on one of the twin-beds. it appears that the bed sheets had not been changed!!!

We stayed here from 25th july to 1st August 2019. Hotel is very expensive for the size of the room they provide. Food damn expensive not worth the money. Breakfast again very limited. Ladies be aware despire the no smoking boards the entire lobby is full of smoke. Food you have to eat outside as the hotel food is very very expensive.

very much near the market place. so the location was great. The staff @ the reception and the service were great. lovely view from the corridor on inside. Good cleanliness . Food was great . The only thing that is , the rooms area a bit small . Otherwise Excellent .

I have been staying in this hotel from 2006 whenever i visit to Guwahati . They have renovated their property of late . Rooms are very good . Nice hospitality . The only concern is the refreshment which is very very expensive .

Though the room rates have gone up but their food prices are exorbitantly high which made a negative impact.

Nice hotel but pathetic quality of food. Food are super heavily priced. Otherwise rest all good. Also the morning breakfast spread is satisfactory. I am writing this review after staying twice. Thought the food quality might improve with the super heavier prices but alas it deteriorated further. A cup of normal morning tea is charged INR 89 !!!
