Great hotel. Perfect part of town. Easy to drive to and find nearby parking. However, most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on.
Convenient to train station. Friendly attentive staff. Room tidy but dated, with lingering musty smoky smell.
Old out dated dirty undergoing renovations
Near train station
This hotel is very close to the train station. It is clean and staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good.
The hotel is just opposite the station easy to find and is convenient to look for food and supermarket.
Convenient place to stay in Matsumoto!
Room is really small. Fortunately, I'm travelling alone, otherwise it would be uncomfortable to fit another person in the room. There was a second bed? (looks like a bed but didn't have sheet covers or blankets) in the room which I wish was not there so there's more space to move around.
The hotel is located across the street from JR station and next to a bus station. There are plenty of shops and eateries around. Our room has everything we need despite its size. The front desk staff was helpful.
Just very well located, but not very Nice hôtel
I didn't know about this hotel chain before and was surprisingly impressed. It's now one of my favorite local chain. My room was unexpectedly big. Though, i'm not sure if they have a smaller room. i'll try to book their other locations soon.
Breakfast was also amazing and it makes you full. They serve the local prefecture dishes so you don't anymore have to try hard to find restaurants serving a certain local dish. I had a list of Matsumoto dishes to eat outside and luckily, i was able to eat all during breakfast.
Location is also just across the train station. It's part of a building that has convenient stores on the ground. They only occupy some floors so reception is not on the ground floor. However, it doesn't make that much difference.
My room and the breakfast room also have a good view of the Japanese alps.
I'd totally recommend this hotel.
The personel were very customer oriented . We requested a nonsmoking room and they went out of the way to accommodate us and moved our luggage; reception had free nonalcoholic drinks available throughout the day. I have stayed at 2 places in Matsumoto this month; the other was ok but this place was much better
Convenient location, tidy and friendly staff but a very tired property showing its age. Bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable.
駅にとても近い上、1階にコンビニもあるので便利です。
また、受付階に無料の飲み物コーナーがあるので、ちょっとした時間つぶしに便利でした。
Very convenient location near the train station. The room had only one small overhead light and no reading lights over the beds. There was no table between beds to place items such as book or glasses. Very small toilet/bathroom. The front desk staff was helpful.
I guess there's a first time for everything. This was for the worst accomodations in Japan. I should've stayed in a hostel. This is nothing like it is advertised. Noisy, dirty, no AC, old, unmaintained, they have me a room with 3 beds, for 2 people's you could not walk in the room or out of the beds. You should not stay here. Whichever reviews you see in Expedia, do not believe it. 30 days all over Japan, and two times before that, this was my worst hotel experience by far. Look for my review on Google, I'll pay photos to show how disappointing this was. Stay at your own risk. Disappointed.
The air conditioner was a little noisy.
nice place to stay at, close to the train station makes travelling very convenient
Everything was great except unfortunately the bed was rock hard. I've stayed in thousands of hotels and this was one of the hardest I've ever slept on. Too bad, since location, staff, cleanliness etc are all wonderful
