During our stay, I noticed a few important safety concerns, especially for families with young children:
Bed height: The bed is very high, making it difficult for children to climb up and down. Unfortunately, my child fell from the bed during the night, which was quite concerning.
Ceiling fan above the bed: The ceiling fan is installed too low directly above the bed. Even while lying on the bed, it feels unsafe because someone could accidentally reach it. For safety reasons, it would be much better if the fan were mounted on the side wall or positioned higher.
Pool access: The door leading directly to the pool should have a safety fence or child-proof barrier to help prevent accidents involving young children.
I would also like to mention that the reservation team's communication could be improved. Before our arrival, I sent several requests by email but did not receive any response. I then contacted the WhatsApp number provided. Although I eventually received a reply, the communication felt informal and unprofessional. In the end, I was assured via WhatsApp that all my requests had been arranged, but after checking in, I found that they had not been properly carried out.
Despite these issues, we truly loved the property and had a wonderful stay overall. We would be happy to return in the future and hope these suggestions will help make the experience even safer and better for families.

Amazing stay at an excellent location
Pros:

The place is excellent if you are looking for some relaxation. The location is simply amazing. Just around the sea side and with some amazing nature. The cottage is well located to give you an excellent sea view.
The Breakfast was also excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They have a buggy service to carry you and belongings. Overall it was really good stay. Away from the hussle and buzle of city.

Great Seaview room looking across to beach, watching fishermen pulling in their nets. Pool was a nice refresher in the heat. Lovely food and friendly staff. Local taxis are a good option for day trips into Kovalam, thank you Arun!

The building where we stayed had no lifts. Very challenging for elderly. Lack of lift should be known to prospective customers before they choose to book. This was communicated to the property manager as well

Pros:

The breakfast spread and the genral premises was beautiful. Access to the beach was an added bonus. The room was comfortable enough for a family of three and the added swing outside the room was perfect for a morning cuppa.

Cons:

The initial booking was for a cottage which was tiny. However the policy of booking and chargingfor a child separately was unnecessary especially when we were able to accomodate in the given room. This is failure of the system with both Booking.com and the resort.
