Pros:

Great Seaview room looking across to beach, watching fishermen pulling in their nets. Pool was a nice refresher in the heat. Lovely food and friendly staff. Local taxis are a good option for day trips into Kovalam, thank you Arun!

Cons:

Bit isolated from other eating options, small village which is walkable but not a lot on offer.

Staff accommodating requests.

Cons:

The building where we stayed had no lifts. Very challenging for elderly. Lack of lift should be known to prospective customers before they choose to book. This was communicated to the property manager as well

Pros:

The breakfast spread and the genral premises was beautiful. Access to the beach was an added bonus. The room was comfortable enough for a family of three and the added swing outside the room was perfect for a morning cuppa.

Cons:

The initial booking was for a cottage which was tiny. However the policy of booking and chargingfor a child separately was unnecessary especially when we were able to accomodate in the given room. This is failure of the system with both Booking.com and the resort.

A relaxing break
Pros:

The property is located on hill slope and the traditional Travancore heritage architecture is very impressive. The food is amazing and restaurant staff was very courteous. The ayurvedic spa facilities are very good and the staff is very competent in providing massages.

Cons:

The two swimming pools the water was very warm and Chlorine levels were vey high.
Rooms can be upgraded with smart TV so that when you retire to room early you can enjoy movie time using your own Netflix account. The choice of available TV channels is very poor.

Highly Recommend Resort in Kovalam
Pros:

Great stay. Wonderful staff. Huge and beautiful property and very well maintained. Do try their massage treatments they are very relaxing.

Good stay, but expensive - not value for money
Pros:

Sea facing so good

Cons:

It is a good property, but not value for money as it is expensive for what it offers. The difference between this & a bit more upscale hotel is not much.
There were hardly any food choices but that may be partly due to the LPG crisis. Breakfast was mediocre
