Second time staying here, first time was a better experience. Very well kept in appearance and friendly staff
Do not stay in East wing if possible. Got “upgraded” and the club next door was easily heard until 2am. The bedding was more uncomfortable than previous stay, and the hot tub jets were broken.
Loved the location since we were attending a cheer competition at the convention center, and with it being so cold out, it was a plus to never have to leave the venue.
The starbucks in the lobby is nice, and they were prepared for the volume with not really long waits.
couple things we were displeased about:
The bathrooms in the convention center and lobby area, were poorly air controlled and not stocked with paper supplies. and the bathrooms lacked cleaniness, with over flowing lobby and bathroom trashcans, and it was 7:30am, like maybe they were short staffed?
we were put in the east building in room 366, the floor in the bathroom in bubbling up and just seems very cheap. We checked in around 8:45pm, we were tired from a long day and travel, when we got to our room, with the 2 kids we had traveling with us, we got settled in, and went to lay down around 9:30-10, it seemed that the bar RIGHT OUT OUR WINDOW, was very much lively in their vibe, we understand this, but the bass coming from the music, and the loudness from the sidewalks were very distracting, when calling the front desk, they said there was nothing they could do, and when we said something again at check out, all they offered were extra points to our member card. but $400/a night, you should be able to lay your head down and have peace of mind that you will sleep, and not be kept up by what seemed to be the only three story bar in the town. we did have a sound machine but that also did not help drown out the sound much.
Also, when parking our vehicle the front desk sent us to an entrance that was CLOSED and didnt give any other directions about how to get into the parking garage, so after 20 mins of my husband driving around down random streeets, finally found the second OPEN area, that was around the opposite side of the building.
It’s a good hotel
Easy to miss while u look for it while driving
They double charge for parking
They charge separately for wifi (how ridiculous)
Location was great. Walking distance to many area eats. The morning buffet was well worth the price.
Waiting for the elevator at times was lengthy. Garage parking though convenient was pricey, especially when your hotel ticket didn’t work.
Down town clean spoke English
Nothing
Clean rooms, nice staff
The Starbucks was the only downside. They make you mix your own cream and sugar and if you get an iced drink, it just doesn’t mix tastes horrible. For the price I’m paying, I’d appreciate not having to make my own drink and paying almost $10 for a bad coffee. Also you can never find a trash can, the small ones in the bathroom aren’t enough.
I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but our experience at the Lancaster Marriott during a dance competition was traumatizing for my wife and teenage daughter. On January 2, 2026, my wife’s bag was stolen from the hotel lobby. In addition to her cash, gift cards, and credit cards being taken her car keys were also in the bag, and her car was stolen from the attached garage.
The hotel’s “security team” was unhelpful and disengaged. They called the police, but when officers asked about cameras—given the lobby location and where the wallet was found—we were told the hotel required a search warrant for lobby footage. This delay, in our view, gave the thieves a head start. After taking names, security essentially walked away—no concern, no assistance, no follow-up support.
For contrast, the Holiday Inn down the street where we ended up staying showed compassion without being asked: a welcome bag, breakfast, and drink vouchers. That’s what caring looks like.
When we contacted Marriott (before posting any reviews) their head of security and safety indicated that “because the items were not placed in the care or custody of the hotel” they are not responsible and “while we work cooperatively with the garage operator, access, surveillance, and vehicle activity within the garage fall outside the hotel’s authority.” While I understand the liability concerns on their part, taking zero responsibility for guest’s safety while on premises is not acceptable. No one from the hotel itself, Marriott corporate, or Bonvoy ever reached out to check in our family, provide any follow-up, or even make any attempt to apologize and earn our future business. The hotel hid behind “procedures” and “not our garage,” prioritizing liability over guest safety. No ownership, just deflection.
I would recommend you look elsewhere.
Great service
Booked a room to accommodate a family of 6, but upon arrival only had 1 room that fit 4 sleepers. Hotel was overbooked with no rooms available, no cots, airbeds, extra pillows or extra blankets were available. An elevator was out of service our entire stay causing there to be a 30+ minute wait for elevator
Very clean and nice area
The hot tub was not working and pool wasn't clean, and it was cold water for winter time
