Fantastisch
Pros:

Wij hadden een kamer op de begane grond. Daarbij een kleine prive plek ipv balkon en het fijne is dat je redelijk beschut zat en toch zo naar het zwembad kon lopen. De douche was ook heerlijk. Schoonmaak was goed.

Cons:

Koelkast deed het niet.
Enorm veel stof in kast waar koelkast zat.
Voor mij 1.90m en 110kg lag het bed niet zo fijn. Kreeg pijn aan mijn heupen.

Un peu cher mais quand même agréable pour un séjour d’une semaine
Pros:

Le personnel très agréable, très souriant, la vue, l’emplacement, les animations, le petit déjeuner très varié avec de bons produits, le fait que ce soit très adapté aux végétariens, il y en a pour tous les goûts, le buffet du soir est varié également, literie confortable, rien à redire sur le ménage, c’était toujours propre.

Cons:

- Les chambres ne sont pas du tout insonorisées (on entend les bébés pleurer, les enfants crier, les meubles qui sont déplacés, les gens tousser/se moucher, les portes qui claquent, les gens qui parlent dans le couloir…).
- les douches ne sont vraiment pas terribles… trop de variations de températures, on passe du tiède au brûlant en une fraction de seconde, il y a même eu deux matins où je n’arrivais pas à avoir l’eau chaude et j’ai renoncé à prendre ma douche sur le moment…
- le fait de mettre des pourboires « suggérés » sur les tickets, si on ne fait pas attention, on perd vite de l’argent. C’est sournois, faites attention, vous avez le droit de refuser !!!
- la piscine intérieure un peu petite et il faudrait une piscine et des emplacements réservés aux adultes afin d’avoir un peu de tranquillité.

Nur zu empfehlen
Pros:

Tolle Anlage, gutes Frühstück, und die Lage war sehr gut. Pool und Sauna gut. Gutes Personal und eine gute Atmosphäre.
Wir waren zwei mal beim Abend Buffet, gut sortiert und auch lecker.

Lovely hotel,fabulous location
Pros:

Just returned from a week's stay at this hotel. Beautiful hotel with friendly, efficient staff,great location with direct access onto the promenade. Facilities are excellent. Walk into Funchal takes about 40mins,but not along the promenade, you have to head inwards along the main street. Happy to recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel in a great location . Professional staff and good facilities.
Pros:

Excellent location. Great room with sea view. Good facilities incl nice pool and hot tub. Staff were professional and friendly. Paid car park easily accessible .

Cons:

Overall a great experience however only two lifts serve the hotel leading to delays at times - esp breakfast times !

Pros:

Muy bien ubicado, muy bien aprovechados los espacios para tener buenas vistas desde todos los ángulos. El jardin y la piscina muy bien cuidados. Desayuno abundante y muy variado

Las camas: si bien los colchones eran comodos, teníamos na habitación doble y las camas se movían mucho y se separaban

Friendly staff, amazing clean team, great location
Pros:

Staff is really friendly and welcoming. That’s the fourth year in a row I travel on my birthday and this was the only hotel where the staff congratulated me through the day, offered me a drink, and made the day feel even more special!
Cleaning team also deserve a mention: every day the room was cleaned really fast and it was always in perfect shape.

Excellent service turned our stay into a great experience
Pros:

We stayed at Pestana Promenade Madeira as a couple and with a small child and although our stay did not start as expected, the outstanding service made all the difference.

On the first day, we were assigned a ground-floor room that was quite dark and located near the pool, which made too noisy and not ideal for a relaxing stay for professionals looking to unwind.
The only other rooms initially available were very similar, so we were understandably disappointed.

Rui at the front office was great attentive, proactive, and quick to involve his department manager Mr.Duarte Santos, to find a solution. Thanks to their quick action, they managed to free up the best available room on the top floor. The new room was spacious, bright, and private, with two large balconies and a private terrace that truly offered tranquility and peace.

The following day, we received a lovely gesture from the property director, GM Julio Marques— a fruit arrangement accompanied by a handwritten note — which made us feel genuinely cared for.

The restaurant and bar staff also deserve special mention for their friendliness, attentiveness, and warm hospitality throughout our stay.
The location is excellent, with a very pleasant surrounding area, and the facilities are good and well maintained.

What could have been an ordinary experience was elevated into a great one thanks to the team’s professionalism, responsiveness, and commitment to guest satisfaction. We would happily return.

Pros:

I recently stayed at here with my wife and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel’s layout is fantastic, offering a welcoming and spacious atmosphere. The pool area is absolutely beautiful, providing a perfect spot to relax. The different bars on-site were fantastic, each offering a unique vibe and great atmosphere. We attended the Fado Dinner which was an absolutely magical experience. The hotel’s proximity to the main town was excellent, making it super convenient to explore local attractions. A lovely touch was the complimentary fruit bowl we received during our stay, and on my wife’s birthday, the hotel surprised us with complimentary sparkling wine delivered to our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, everything was absolutely exceptional, and we left with wonderful memories. Highly recommend this hotel!
