The staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. They helped us book visits and excursions, make restaurant reservations, and arrange transport to the airport.

Everyone was always in such a good mood, and the welcome we received at breakfast every morning was just amazing. It was impossible not to start the day in a good mood! 😊

Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely come back! ❤️

I felt the hotel lived up to its photos. Clean and friendly and the pool area and gardens are beautifully kept. Relaxed atmosphere and no panic for getting a sunbed by the pool. Breakfast has a great selection too. Only very minor thing was the two lifts weren’t enough for the size of the hotel but no big deal. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Nous avons séjourné 12 jours dans ce magnifique hôtel avec une vue incroyable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
Le personnel est très agréable et à l'écoute du client. L'établissement est très propre et les chambres sont spacieuses.
La piscine et le jardin sont très bien entretenus. Excellent petit déjeuner. Les buffets du soir varient suivant les jours.
Un grand merci particulier à Lina pour l'accueil à notre arrivé, un grand merci à Tiago pour avoir organisé nos excursions, et un grand merci à Dalila qui était aux petits soins avec nous. Nous espérons revenir un jour.

La piscina es grande y agradable. Suficientes tumbonas y un gran jacuzzi-piscina que va muy bien para relajarse. El desayuno está muy bien.la ubicacion esta muy bien. No queríamos funchal asi que cerca de la zona Lido es perfecto.

Checked in late on 17/07/26 after a long journey with my 5 year old son. I paid approximately €1000 for a four night stay.

My son cried when I saw the room in what can only be described as the basement.

The room was hot( no apparent A/C working. Steel shutters in the balcony as it is on the ground floor next to the public promenade so can’t have the window open at night at all!!!!!

What would any good parent do? I went to reception and asked to change the room. I was met with the usual dismissive response ‘ no other room free although if I pay an extra €225 I might be able to change rooms.’

So, unable to get a refund, change rooms, book another hotel at massive expense, we are in a prison cell. No A/C, no fresh air, no natural light (on our first visit to Madeira). DISAPPOINTMENT doesn’t cover it! Rest assured, the subsequent reviews on all platforms will be scathing.

I feel totally ripped off and add my son’s upset to that, and I am livid.

Hotel was generally good. We booked a classic room which was good value and had a sea view. Note that this is sort of in the basement directly on the promenade and therefore metal shutters are required for security at night. Beds were on the firm side and sink was small. Noticed a few small ants in the bathroom and toilet flush didn't always work properly and took a long time to reset.

Pool area was nice and had no issue finding a sunbed at anytime of the day. Lunch at the poolside cafe was OK but quite limited and sometimes what we ordered wasn't quite what we received. Breakfast was also good with fresh pancakes and eggs. We noticed some flies in the bread section on a couple of the days but staff were generally good at keeping the area tidy.

Overall would recommend but would go for a better room next time. Several good restaurants nearby.
