Emblem Hotel, New Friends Colony

There were bugs in the room. There is no iron or ironing board in the room and the ironing board they brought in did not have a cover. The floors were separating and everything was run down and did not look like the photos. Left the hotel right after seeing the room and was able to find somewhere else to stay.

The team was helpul. The acted upon the complaints. The tolet lid was broken. The room was not cleaned. We still could see the hairclip from previous occupent. The quilt looked run down completely to the ectent that we got itchiness once we got into the bed. The team stated pumping water into the tank at 2 am in the moning creating noise that we could not sleep. On complaining they switched it off. So overall not a pleasent stay.

Friendliness of the staff

I am disappointed since the pictures when i booked the room were telling a different story from what we experienced. There was cockroach in the room as well as in the bathroom that i reported to the hotel staff to which they replied, it will be cleaned in the morning and i had to leave in the morning. No microwave in the room, i guess it is because they don't allow outside food in premises. There was quite disturbance during midnight when we were struggling to sleep, i guess staff was chit chatting in the corridor where our room was and they can be heard easily from inside the room also bathroom door was making a sound when open or close which was not good when you use it during the night when others were sleeping. Room has a smell of moisture, there were mosquitos in the room. Cleanness is the main issue. Honestly, it is not worth the money i paid.

TV was out of order, A/C was not cooling enough and waste water was leaking below the basin. However, food and behavior of the the staff were cordial.

It was nice to have the security man to get us tuk tuks and to negotiate the price for us. All of the people there were very nice. The cook even remembered how I like my eggs after the first day.

Expedia was showing complementary breakfast. It was not there.

Room was not clean. I found bed bugs.

One of the worst hotels I have been in. So dirty, everything is malfunctioning, noisy fridge, noisy AC, dropping water noise from the toilet 24/7. Insanely poor food and bad hygiene in the breakfast.

The rooms are in need of little maintenance. The walls look moist mostly.

Overall it was good. My family had hard time to find the hotel through local transport and there are not may restaurant and shops near by the hotel.

The room wasn’t the cleanest but we didn’t expect much from the price. The showers drain look like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. It was full of hair and gunk which caused it to flood up to the top of your feet when used.
the thing that got me though was when my friend needed an emergency er visit in the early morning they told us before I took her we needed to pack our stuff and get it out of the room if we were gonna be back after check out time. Mind you this was an EMERGENCY.. the staff was so inconsiderate

The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area. The staff were helpful and nice. Nice, large bathroom, so that's good. Had a refrigerator, offered a free bottle of mineral water and gave us slippers. For the price, these are very nice amenities in this area. HOWEVER, I had a lot of trouble with the wifi.

The staff were lovely and very friendly. But the first room I had was damp and dirty, and stunk not what I would expect for the price I was paying in Delhi. They changed me to better room which was nice enough. Staff nice but overall don't think great value for money
