Perfect
Pros:

The Glunz our favorite after coming to the Keys 42 years.
Pros:

The staff was very helpful, we asked for additional towels, and they were right there with them. We were barbqueing steak n lobster 🦞 and the bar b was out of gas within 15 minutes the manager came and hooked up another tank, great service. Carl and I loved the music at the bar. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable in fact we ordered them for our own home.

Cons:

The only con was it was a Havanna Suite, with full kitchen, no cups for coffee, no soap to wash dishes under sink.

A wonderful stay with Old Key Charm.
Pros:

We loved everything about Glunz. It was a great value. If you paid $100 more per night you could get a more upscale resort but not much nicer. The staff was super nice and helpful, the location was perfect, the grounds and our room were immaculate and well maintained. And Marathon is the Key to stay on. Great base to go where you please.

What is rated as a 3/10 would have been a 10/10 if the beachfront was cleaned up.
Pros:

Everything inside the building and room and pool were great. The left us a bottle of bubbly and sweet note for our honeymoon.

Cons:

It was extremely unfortunate that the hundreds of pounds of rotting seaweed were piled on land next to the pool rather than moved or burned. The collection of seaweed made the room, parking lot and pool experience unenjoyable due to the nauseating smell.

Location is great, right on the beach, although they do not maintain it well. Towels were white and nice.

Cons:

Motel setting, rooms had a strong smell of mold. No closet, overall small space. Beach was not well maintained. Felt deserted.

Pros:

The pool area was nice. We loved seeing the iguanas roaming around. Bikes were nice. The sunrise was beautiful and we saw it perfectly from our end unit. AC in the room was great.

Cons:

The laundry room was disgraceful. Definitely needs updating. Honestly it was disappointing Havana Jack's wasn't open during the day. Guests were allowed to have a dog on property that they let go wild. The dog was running all over and brought into the pool area. It chased the iguanas into the ocean. The dog was unsupervised.

Relaxing and enjoyable, Vacation
Pros:

We had a wonderful time. We took our grandkids and they truly enjoyed your pool. Very nice and clean and the staff was extra pleasant. In this world we’re living in with people. Not being very kind on or helpful. This was a beautiful change for us. Everything was so Smooth and I can’t say enough about the stuff. It would really really wonderful every single person.

A very disappointing stay due to the lack of assistance and communication from the hotel.
Pros:

Unfortunately, we did not get the opportunity to enjoy the room or the facilities, as we were unable to access our room and had to stay at another hotel for the night.

Cons:

We were very disappointed by the lack of staff availability and the inability to reach the hotel for assistance at night.

We had a great time at this property and would definitely go back.
Pros:

The staff were nice and very helpful. Everything was clean. There are 2 pools on the property. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas and clean spaces.

Cons:

The only negative was all the seaweed on the beach. You couldn't get in the water there was so much of it. This is absolutely no fault of the hotel. Unfortunately this time of year in the Keys the seaweed situation is impossible.
