海で遊ぶには最高！
ホテルから直接海遊びに行けるし、透明度の高い水と綺麗な白浜が最高です。
夜は海岸で花火もできるし、消火用のバケツやチャッカマンも貸してくれます。
設備が古くて部屋のトイレとか使いづらいです。
食事は美味しかったですが、あの値段だともっと良いものが出てもいいと思います。他のプリンスホテルの方が食事は満足できました。

Shimoda is simply great. Around the hotel there a few nice spots and restraints too.
•We have been visiting this hotel almost every year for around 10 years. It has so much potential, and the location is truly wonderful. However, the rooms, lobby, and other common areas are now in need of renovation.
We particularly enjoy the terrace rooms on the first floor, but unfortunately, the bathrooms are especially in need of refurbishment and are no longer in good condition…
The carpets everywhere are old and dusty with fading colors. Wall papers and windows too. It would be better to switch to no carpets in the rooms as the guest use the beach and carpets make the hygiene impossible.
I really hope the Prince Group will invest in a full renovation and renewal of this beautiful property. With some care and modernization, it could become a truly outstanding hotel again.
•The dinner buffet during summer holiday was very expensive but was serving freezer food for various dishes. With a price of 8000 Yen per person we were expecting much more salad and meat dishes. The salad bar was basically tiny. The light and visual of the dining room resembled a cheap mensa at university and didn’t feel like „holiday“. I hope the hotel will improve this but for now we won’t dine at the hotel again. It was our first time and sadly also our last.
A prince of 4000 Yen would be okay, 8000 Yen for this qualify isn’t worth the money.
• The beach bar is beautiful but didn’t offer any coffees or desserts like pan cakes or waffles. With prices starting at 1200 Yen for a simple dish it would be nice to enjoy a coffee time with an ocean view. Much potential but again the hotel doesn’t seem to know how to attract visitors.

Tesisin görünenle gerçeği asla uyuşmuyor özellikle havuzu görünenden çok farklı ve bildiğiniz küçücük çocuk havuzu gibiydi ve kirliydi ayrıca otel in hiç bir organizasyonu yoktu kendimizi bir pansiyonda kalıyor gibi hissettik.Oda deniz manzaralıydı fakat pencereleri o kadar kirliydi ki dışarının güzelliğini kapatıyordu.Aynı zamanda denizi çok pis ve kayalık yosun doluydu girilebilecek bir deniz değildi.Biz yakınındaki halk plajına gitmek zorunda kaldık.Yani anlayacağınız paramız çöpe gitti gibi hissediyoruz
The view and location on the ocean was beautiful. Food was delicious. Most of the staff was very accommodating and professional.
Our check in agent was not really friendly. The sheets on one bed had sand in it. Their dinner option was extremely expensive and there was really no other choice coming in later in the afternoon. The whole scheduling dinner/ breakfast thing was not really helpful when traveling. Might have been a cultural thing.
