Yas Plaza Circuit

This was our first time staying in Abu Dhabi for more than 24 hours with my parents. We were heading back home in North America and decided to have a 5 to 6 day layover in Abu Dhabi. Looking at hotels, we came across different hotels such as Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton, and so forth. However, Yas Plaza Circuit caught my attention because it was in Yas Island and I wanted something away from the city.

The booking experience on IHG's website was a breeze and being a loyal IHG Club Member, I also received some extra perks such as 25% off food and non alcoholic beverages. 48 hours before checking into the hotel, we received an email from the hotel staff asking if there were any requests that we needed or any questions we had. I have never had this happen with any other hotel.

We arrived at the hotel, 1 hour before the actual check-in time and they were happy to accommodate us instead of waiting. Snow the front desk hotel staff was amazing and she explained everything to us. She was very patient and was able to answer our questions.

The room was very spacious for 3 adults and the sofa bed was the right size. It was nice to have 2 separate washrooms / bathrooms and the main bedroom was separate. The rooms were clean and tidy. All amenities were there and when we wanted items such as towels, tea bags, bottles of water, they were delivered upon time.

We were also informed that Laundry facilities (not dry cleaning) is free. This is a separate Laundry room past the door from the elevators when you head to the gym. The gym facility was spotless, tidy and had clean towels + water. It was great to see that the hotel uses the name brand - Life Fitness. They had equipment for cardio, core/abs, free weights, upper and lower body strength training. Would have been nice if they had a dedicated machine for bicep curls, but I am not complaining. The gym is open 24/7.

For meals, they do have a restaurant that is only open for breakfast buffet and this is where I give a shout out to Siya, Gobind, Ashley and Badrinath. Amazing staff and they take care of you from start to finish. Being vegetarians it was nice to find a good amount of Indian vegetarian options kept separately from the main buffet breakfast items. Price is also very reasonable too, especially when you factor in the 25% discount being a member. They have lovely fresh juices by the bar area and 3 coffee machines as well. For the pastries, it would have been nice to have more vegan friendly options.

Just a suggestion - it would be great if the restaurant also had lunch and dinner options, because the Indian Restaurant called Rangoli which is attached to the opposite hotel - Yaz Plaza Marina was not the greatest.

Some things that could improve:

a) Larger business center which is more quiet. I had to use the one at Yas Plaza Marina
b) The main restaurant to have lunch and dinner options.
c) The "small" cafe where you can purchase pastries and hot beverages could have been open a little later.

Overall, highly recommended place to stay and would be back on our next trip.

This is my go to hotel when I am in Abu Dhabi. The staff, the location, the ability to use the sister hotel next doors facilities and proximity to the airport makes this such an easy trip. As a solo traveller, I feel very safe.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely return. The cleanliness stood out immediately—everything from the lobby to the rooms was immaculate and well maintained, which made for a very comfortable and relaxing environment.

The customer service was also exceptional. Staff members were consistently warm, attentive, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant experience. Check-in was smooth, and every interaction felt genuinely welcoming.

Breakfast was a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety of options to satisfy any appetite. It was the perfect way to start the day.

The only downside is that there’s no on-site restaurant service after breakfast, which might be inconvenient for some. However, the hotel has partnered with another property just a few steps away, where complimentary services are available for guests. This made the lack of in-house dining far less of an issue.

Overall, an excellent hotel for travelers who value cleanliness, top-notch service, and a great start to the morning!

Convenient location. Liked that a regular bus service ran nearby and was complimentary to the local attractions. Pleasant stay.

The room had a perfect view for watching the fireworks. Also, we could see the pool, which added to the relaxing vibe to the room. The location was ideal—close to all theme parks, restaurants, and attractions in Yas Island. The stay was comfortable and enjoyable for the whole family.

Very convenient, no hassle, easy to check in, amazing pool with the view. Chanie was there to help us throughout the process and made it seamless. Closer to the F1 track and near to all the land marks. They give us free vouchers to use at Yas Beach as well.

My experience at this hotel was not pleasant. The room was much smaller than expected and the other facilities were so-so. To top it off, I booked a 2-night stay and was completely disturbed by construction noise that shook the entire hotel in the morning. After 30 minutes, I went down to the reception to complain about it and they switched me to the hotel next door. I was grateful for the change of hotel, upgraded room, and included breakfast, but this was an issue that should have been addressed in advance. I appreciated the action taken after the fact, but the hassle of packing my luggage was a bit inconvenient.

I recently stayed at Centro Hotel in Yas Island and had a mostly pleasant experience. Breakfast buffet was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my stay.

However, my visit was significantly impacted by renovation work. The noise during the day from upper floor was loud and disruptive, making it difficult to relax or work from the room. Unfortunately, there was no prior notice about the ongoing construction, which I believe should have been communicated at the time of booking or check-in.

I would consider staying here again in the future, but only once the renovations are complete or if transparency about such disruptions is improved.

One of the best budget options in Yas-Island. Provides everything you need for a comfortable stay and to rest after visiting all over Yas-Island. The rooms are equipped with all what's needed. Room service is prompt. And check-in staff is always ready to help and guide you during your stay. There's a free shuttle service to visit all attractions in Yas Island and its next to the hotel gate. Cabs are readily available. They also have a pretty decent breakfast buffet, taking care of all tastes and dietary preferences. We used the swimming pool too, crystal clean pool with cold water in summer was enough to refresh us. Overall a great experience and wouldn't mind staying here again. Overall great value for money. The only catch is the check-in time is 3:00 PM, so plan your travel accordingly.

I still believe the old interior style is better than the new one, before the TV position was perfect to watch from anywhere, now you should be on bed yo watch, also the floor coating was better with rug than wood coat where i have to wear slippers all time which is not available at room !
I’m a regular visitor to Centro Yas at least once a year but this time i didn’t have the same experience.

No bar and breakfast was okay

The pool was nice and clean, it was not too crowded. The rooms are small but very tidy and comfortable. The breakfast served was also tasty and had enough variety to cater to all nationalities.

Additionally, this is a budget friendly hotel if you are looking to explore the nearby attractions that Yas Island has to offer.

Super stay with theme park access. Nice memorable trip and stay. Love to come back again when Disney starts. Breakfast is best. I recommend this stay for all family who are planning to visit theme parks. Sea world, ferrari world, Warner brothers too good. Only abu dhabi can do it.
