As I would arrive in Sharjah early morning after my 8 hours flight during the night, I would rather have access to my room to be able to sleep for few hours and not waiting until 2 pm when access to the room start.
To do so, I was told by Expedia to pay for one extra night . This meant they would keep my room empty over the night but I would get the key to the room on my arrival without any delay, and I did pay for one extra night.

However, when I arrived at the hotel, to my horror, the receptionist told me to wait until the room is free as thy had rent it to another guest. When I asked why, he replied this is our routine , as if a guest doesn't arrive we rent the room.
I was furious and my explanation didn't help as they knew that some people like me pay for one extra night but they till rent the room to get double pay.

They promised to pay me back (one night cost) but they never did.
There was no toilet paper,
I had to ask for everything
No coffee in the room and.......
Don't use this hotel again-is my advice

Nice facility but lacks general maintenance. The bath tub, toilet accessories need to be replaced and is not a big expense for some cosmetic upkeep and maintenance. Can easily be rated a three star with a little vision in hospitality management. Rate was good for the room size and hotel central location close to a beach.

Ze liegen, het is geen eens een halve ster waardig!! Zogenaamd meerdere sterren, dus niet!! Niks klopt dus bespaar jezelf teleurstelling.

worst hotel I experience , it was written 4 stars when i booked on line at hotels .com site but when I checked in the hotel reception their was a sign says 2 stars

This hotel is not like your ordinary hotel with elevator and different floors, ect. It’s more like you’re home. The hotel staff is very nice. The restaurant inside the hotel has awesome food (but try to buy it with room as package because it can be a little pricy alone.) The only thing you should pay attention is this hotel is not located in Dubai. It’s in Sharjah (one of the 7 Emirates), which is a different city.( 25 min from Dubai by car) If you don’t have a tour vehicle to pick you up, you will be using hotel taxi to get around Dubai.
Other than it’s not bad for its price.

Op het plaatje ziet het er veel mooier uit, er verblijven heel veel gasten uit Rusland en het was te ver weg van Dubai wat niet duidelijk overkomt als je er niet eerder geweest bent.

Vores største skuffelse var da vi ankom og så at det var et ** hotel. Vi havde set her på siden at det skulle være 3,5* værd, men det syntes vi ikke. Det lever dog til fulde op til 2*.

Poolen var god - når den ellers ikke var lukket af for en privat fest. Den ene resturant der havde åben, havde kun buffet, og morgenmaden er ikke inklusiv, selv om teksten her på siden lover noget andet.

Bemærk at hotellet godt nok ligger tæt på en strand, men dette er IKKE en badestrand. Desuden ligger dette hotel i Sharjah, og der serveres ikke alkohol i denne by/emirat.

Folk var flinke, og hele stedet blev holdt pænt og rent.

Udmærket hotel for familie med børn og par som ikke kræver luksus. Rolig og venlig atmosfære. Svært at finde og forholdsvis trafikkeret at komme fra hotellet til Dubai. Tager fra 20 min. til 45 min. i bil til Bur Dubai. Til gengæld er det forholdsvist enkelt at komme til Central Suq og fiskemarkedet mv. Alt meget autentisk og oplevelsesrigt.
Der er 10 min. gang til udmærket offentlig badestrand.
Fin morgenbuffet og udmærket aftenbuffet. Der ligger nogle små lokale restauranter kun 5 min. gang fra hotellet, som er sjove og billige.

Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Dubai. Es ist sehr schmutzig. Die Bilder von Hotel.com entsprechen nicht dem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind klein und alles muffelt. ich buchte 5 Bett-Suite mit Küche und Wohnzimmer. Doch das gibt es gar nicht. Stattdessen bekam ich eine 4 Bett Zmmer. Und die 5 Person musste auf dem Boden schlafen!!! Bin sehr enttäuscht. Und die 4 Sterne stimmen auch nicht. Es hat höchstens 1 Stern.

It was my huge mistake to make a reservation of this hotel in regards to location. pretty far and the car roads were weird to drive around at. the room was spacious but not gave me pleasant vibes. pool was small and did not go there once.

4 adults from Finland spend 5 days at Verona Resort. Experiences 20-25.1.2012:

- We ordered 2 non-smoking rooms > got zero (awful smell at rooms) > there is none non-smokingroom at hotel

- In the shower was only cold water

- In the shower waterpressure was so low that it was impossible to was hair in the shower

- Receptionboys were rude

- Breakfest was without coffee

- The room cleaning was poor (for example in two days we were without toiletpaper)

- At hotels.com-service the hotel is 4star but at the hotel it is only 2star (reception wall).

*THIS IS NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL*

This is a predominantly russian occupied hotel in the outskirts of Sharjah, on the way to Amjan. The place is lovely and cheap if that is what you are looking for in a hotel. If you are staying, make sure you have a car or some other form of transport for getting around as you will not be able to get to/from easily from the hotel.

Location wise its nice and quiet, the hotel itself is nice, staff are friendly enough. But facilities are pretty average. Pool is small, gym is tiny, restaurants arent great looking(didnt fancy eating in any of them)

If you want a nice quiet place to spend a week, this place would be ideal, but if you want to explore Dubai, which I wanted to do, look else where.
