Maison Albar - Le Diamond

The room was outdated, wall papers were coming off. This hotel was not worth the price of over $400 a night. It should not be rated a 5 star diamond hotel.

Great place, service, rooms, and location.

This hotel is less than a block from Gare St. Lazare so quite convenient for train and subway transportation.
The staff are mostly nice but some can be improved for hospitality.
The rooms are good size for Paris but bathroom is dark, shower door is too short .
The room lighting switches can get a bit confused. The carpet needs to be replaced as it is quite old and bulges in several places.
Daily tea, coffee and supply of water in the room is appreciated .

The room did not feel that luxurious for a 5 star. There was a slight smell of damp in the room and the carpet had some water damage. Water from the shower goes all over the bathroom and into the carpet in the room. The chromecast was not working and didn’t get fixed on our second night either

Loved that hotel! The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated.the hotel is perfectly located near the Gare Saint Lazare and Boulevard Haussmann. I will definitely stay there again next time I go to Paris as I found it extremely convenient.

Very convenient location next to Lazare station, opera and gallery Lafayette. Plenty of shopping and dining. The hotel is cozy and the rooms are nice. Great reception managed by Jamila. My home in Paris away from home.

Lovely five-star hotel close to Gare Saint-Lazare. I stayed for three nights with my girlfriend while celebrating her birthday. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade; unexpected but highly appreciated! Our spacious suite came with a comfy sofa, large bed, and all the modern amenities we could have desired. I loved the sophisticated shower and the fancy toilet; certainly a classy environment for daily necessities. In addition to a street-facing balcony, the ceiling above the bed was mirrored, a classy touch that added an extra dimension to the space. Service was always courteous and professional; from obtaining information about laundry service to receiving a new key card all the way through housekeeping, my needs were met and my expectations exceeded. The location is close to transit and shopping with many premiere destinations in walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our world class stay at this property and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a superior stay in Paris.

One of the toilets did not work properly and was leaking, the velvet material was a bit outdated but that’s the style of the hotel. Everything else was very clean and nice.

The hotel was ok however the walls thin so you can hear your neighbors and everything they do, so it could be uncomfortable.

Frankly nothing wrong with this hotel. Room was an executive standard and the shower absolutely incredible. Bed was very comfortable and the staff excellent. Would definitely return.

Amazing experience! Everything was excellent! Highly recommend.

Property is beautiful and room is very comfortable and nice deco, well lite. The light wiring gets to a weird state which you need to reset here and there.
Not liking the dark entrance in the hallway to the room which seemed like going in a cave.
Location is quite convenient to shops, eateries and transportations.
Checkin/out is very slow for some reason ? It took about 30 minutes for us.
However, staff if very nice.
There is no steam room or sauna room in the hotel itself.
