Location is super close, 3-5 minutes walk to the amazing soho shopping and restaurants area. Near by subway and super close to the Holland Tunnel

My room has an unbearable noise coming from the air conditioner's pressurizer. It would turn on and off intermittently, sometimes in the middle of the night, waking us up, and sometimes very early in the morning when we woke up. I complained 5 times, the maintenance staff came to the room twice and always said it was fixed, but on the 5th time I gave up. They didn't change my room... In addition, the reception staff were very arrogant when I talked about the problem, kind of not caring or making light of it.

Solid hotel but in need of renovation and upgrade
Pros:

Location, room size, air con was great in the rooms, the amenities provided in the bathrooms

Cons:

The elevators and the wait times involved. Very frustrating. Also the lack of lounge in the lobby. The hotel and rooms desperately need a renovation too

The location and the staff

Cons:

The elevator system is insane and so inconvenient. Had to wait on each ride 20-30 minutes. The property was not cleaned and I saw a cockroach that the staff killed in front of us while waiting on the elevators on the 7th floor floor. The food is not up to expectations and it's now of lower quality. They definitely need to remodel and update the furniture. I have been staying in this property several times since January but every time I stay, I notice it is declining. However, they have an amazing staff and service.
