The small things let it down. Cheap tacky bin in the room 2 light bulbs out of 4 not working . noisy plumbing
No hot water in the tap . / Ripped carpet / radiators not working All easy to put these things right But keep in mind the room price. Was very cheap the prem inn over the road cost double so. You get what you pay for we would use again Recommend a trip to pound land. To sort some of these things out

Close to the sea front, comfy beds, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent water pressure, spare pillows. Room upgraded on arrival from what we had booked.
Whilst nicely decorated our room was slightly run down (windows very hard to open, felt stuck in the frame and one did not close properly, door hard to open and shut as catching in the frame - lock slightly loose and needed to firmly lift the door by the handle to open and close, damaged foot board on bed). Could have been cleaner (moved a lamp slightly and was quite sticky on the surface, few hairs in the shower, general feeling of being slightly dusty/unclean). Didn't affect our one night stay but felt decor/fittings could do with a spruce and slightly deeper clean.
Das Hotel liegt ideal, nicht weit vom Bahnhof und nicht weit vom Strand entfernt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es war wirklich sehr ruhig, konnte auch sehr gut schlafen.
Das Bett war ziemlich hart, habe aber trotzdem gut geschlafen.

Bed was reasonably comfy for the price.
All a bit sad and tired inside.
Struggled with the shower for ten mins trying to get hot water, then gave up.
Was told at the beginning breakfast is 8-9.30 but come before 9 as we stop around then.
The website mentions secure facilities for storing valuables but this was not offered when requested. Just told to leave stuff by the mirror.
Window next to the fire escape which felt unsafe in terms of access, and an odd cupboard in the bathroom which led to a space full of pipes. A lock on this would have made me feel more safe.
