Location & Food excellent
Nothing
Beautiful location, great staff.
Nice food, very relaxing place
The grounds were lovely and kept in excellent condition
I would have preferred a self-serve breakfast for cereals and fruit.
Breakfast was excellent in a lovely setting
No swimming pool or Spa
We loved our bedroom, which was in the main house and had a four-poster bed which was extremely comfortable. There was a beautiful drawing room downstairs where it was lovely to relax in by an open fire.
Food was also excellent, as was the ambience generally. We walked the grounds as well, and they were also wonderful with a beautiful walled garden overlooking a stunning lake which we could see from our bedroom.
All in all, it is a great place to just chill out.
And to top it all, the staff whom I met were all so pleasant to deal with.
We will be back.

The area and views
Bed was small it says 2 double room& room with two single beds
This wasn't the case one bed had single bed only. It was small.
Breakfast was excellent. Anything on the menu would be perfect. The staff were very helpful, attentive but not intrusive.
Smell of smoke from the fires.
Staff were very attentive and it was warm, which alot of buildings that age aren't.
Could do with a bit of a makeover. Some parts looked a bit worn.
