I visited with my family including my dog. Everyone loved the stay. It was an easy access to all the places we wanted to

One of Bend’s best choices
Pros:

Large comfortable rooms. Simple, but good, breakfast. Nice welcome beverage. Great views from rooms on River side.

Cons:

Common area hot tub would be a nice add.

A clean, attractive room in a pleasant river setting, but the uncomfortable beds, inadequate refrigerator, traffic noise
Pros:

The room was clean, nicely furnished, and laid out well, with a large bathroom and a private balcony. Although the building is older, it did not feel rundown. We enjoyed the distant river view and hearing the sounds of people and dogs playing in the river below. The location is away from the busy downtown area, with a restaurant nearby and stores about half a mile away. The staff were responsive when we contacted them.

Cons:

The air conditioning did not work during the first two days of our stay, despite temperatures around 90 degrees. The staff eventually fixed it, but it required a lot of messaging and effort on our part. The advertised refrigerator was extremely small, barely cooled anything, and could hold only a few drinks. Both beds were uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed, which had a bar pressing into your back. The nearby highway created constant traffic noise, and the view directly below the balcony included ladders, pipes, and other unattractive maintenance items.

Nice location, large room
Pros:

We had a spacious room with a separate bedroom plus murphy bed in the living room. We enjoyed the large deck too. We didn't hear any others so we assume the walls are thicker which helped keep the evenings quiet.

Cons:

The breakfast really needs to be updated, canned fruit cocktail is a poor choice. The property needs some updating, especially the common area carpet is in disrepair. Front desk person had her head phones on when we walked by a few times which didn't feel very welcoming or friendly.

Fabulous Home away from home in the best area!!
Pros:

The location was fabulous....my room was spacious and loved the patio and the deer visiting in the morning. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful and felt so welcome and the kindness for my dog was extra appreciated.

Cons:

The breakfast - or at least the coffee would have been nice to have that open at 6 instead of 7 for those of us that get up early and head out for the day!

Great location with river views but run down
Pros:

Location. Quiet. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Owners have definitely let the hotel get run down, almost shabby. We have stayed there many times over the years but the rooms have been neglected especially considering the high market prices they are charging.

Beautiful hotel.
Pros:

It was a beautiful hotel. We love that a deer came up to our door and it was so close to everywhere we need to go.

Cons:

The staff were very polite and helpful.
The only issue we had was we asked for maid service and they didn’t show up up until almost 4 and we told her to come back tomorrow and put our sign on the door and she didn’t come so the next morning I got up and went to the front door desk and they had told them that we kept telling her no service. It was resolved and was cleaned tho.
