Pros:

The room was very clean and staff was kind.

Cons:

I booked on line, and there was no information about a renovation being done at the time.
To enjoy a pool or breakfast, we were told it would be provided at the hotel next to us. As it was winter, walking to a hotel for these amenities was out of the question. I was very disappointed.

Pros:

Plenty of rooms available and all were clean. Staff was very helpful in providing me a room that was quiet and comfortable. No dingy, air conditioning smell, no lingering, cigarette smoke smell hotel was the cleanest. I've been in in the Hickory area.

Cons:

Occupant in the room next door loved yelling on his phone at six am in the morning. The door that separated our rooms was too thin and I could hear every word he was saying. Just one of those people that spoke very loudly unconsciously. Staff, politely and quickly set me up with a different room. So I did not have to worry about getting woken up at the crack of dawn the following day.

Will definitely stay again if we are ever back in Hickory!
Pros:

Very nice and clean rooms. Love the free breakfast and the coffee available 24/7. We had the suite and the room was very spacious.

Stay in hickory
Pros:

It was in same parking lot as convention i came there for, so I didn't have to try and find parking

Cons:

The place was under construction at the time of my stay and I wasn't advised b4 I booked it. Therefor couldn't use any of the facilities

Next time (in 2 weeks) we stay somewhere else.
Pros:

Did not take breakfast. Was told to go to Fairfield next door for breakfast, did not have time.

Cons:

Should have warned at time of booking of reconstruction going on. Motel was certainly worth full price during this mess.

Great stay! Would definitely book again.
Pros:

The hotel was clean and recently renovated. Walk in shower and comfy bed!

Cons:

The lobby was under renovation including the breakfast area but the hotel made arrangements for guests to eat at the hotel next door which was excellent!

Stay Here for Convention Center Things
Pros:

The staff were incredible: especially the gentleman serving breakfast. The rooms were cleaning tidy, and even the concessions were not overly priced. Its also literally a 4 mimute walk to the convention center.

Cons:

The breakfast was fine. Not great, but not bad either. Everything about the stay was great, but if I had to pick one it would be this. Its pefectly fine for being free, but dont expect gourmet. They options were plentiful though.
