The staff was friendly and the hotel quite pretty but a little dilapidated. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.
We coudn'lt use the terrace as we were told it is 'out of service'. The rooms were nice but could be cleaner. I had to ask for the floors to be wipes as they were black when i wiped something from the floor. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. It was a nice experience but felt a bit scruffy....
Breakfast was good. Charged for hot chocolate for kids whereas coffee was free - somewhat annoying
all in all nice experience, great location, very friendly staff
EN ESTA OCASIÓN LA UBICACIÓN, YA HABIA ESTADO ANTERIORMENTE EN EL HOTEL, PERO NO FUE LA MISMA EXPERIENCIA.
VI AL HOTEL EN MALAS CONDICIONES, QUIZÁS UN POCO ABANDONADO, EL ÁEREA DE LA ALBERCA
ROTOS LAS TABLAS DE MADERA E INCLUSO ESTUVE A PUNTO DE TENER UN ACCIDENTE PORQUE EL
CALZADO SE ME FUE DE UN LADO, LAS LUCES DE LAS HABITACIONES ALGUNAS NO FUNCIONABAN Y EL AGUA
DE LA ALBERCA HELADA.
Beautiful, elegant, and sophisticatedly crafted. We had a delightful time. The staff went above and beyond!!! Chris please tell everyone thank you for me. It is ‘the place” to stay for sure
The feel of being a guest in a family luxurious mansion with great folks taking care of you each day.
Très bel hôtel avec personnel très attentionné. Bon restaurant.
Rien
Las habitaciones son muy comodas
Todo excelente
Staff forgot to provide us with a boxed lunch as promised because we had a very early tour. We can understand the error, however we never received a proper apology. For how much we paid, we think we deserve better.
This place was lovely.
Location is fantastic , Staff more than friendly
Breakfast where fantastic
Restaurant for dinner is really good service
Toilet didn’t work so good , stayed here 12 years ago and was brilliant starting to show signs it needs a overhaul again
Very good
We loved this hotel - it’s charmingly and uniquely decorated, the room was beautiful (it’s also one of only a handful of hotels locally that seem to offer a twin room w queen beds(, the pool was gorgeous and it’s perfectly located
Nothing - couldn’t have been better if we’d designed every detail ourselves.
The rooms and the decor is very nice, but it was very noisy. We had a suite with pool view and we could hear everything from the reception and they (the staff mainly) were very loud… We also had a 5 course dinner reserved with their restaurant for New Year’s Eve, but it was really bland food and tasteless. During our entire 10days trip to Mexico, this was our worst dinner and it was also extremely expensive for the quality (payed appropriately 150 dollars pp..) the Stay was noisy but the decor and the rooms were really nice, but for the restaurant, we strongly recommend eating somewhere else.
Restaurant was a bad experience, and it was very loud (noise from the reception..). Overrated for this price
We stayed at Rosas & Xocolate for 8 days and enjoyed every moment. The hotel is centrally located on the main paseo which made touring the local squares and other attractions easy to get to both day and night. Our room was comfortable - I slept soundly every night, the service was outstanding - the hotel was always clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly - always willing to help as needed. We took full advantage of all the services offered: spa, dining and their outdoor patios. We had dinner there late our first night after a long day of travel and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and great service. It was five stars above most other hotels' restaurants. Our room came with a complimentary breakfast. It too was delicious and had many choices, allowing us to try many local breakfast foods and beverages each morning.
I would like to give a particular 'shout out' to Crisiant, the sales manager/concierge. He was extremely helpful in advance of our stay helping us arrange a private birding tour, sending us a list of excellent local restaurants within walking distance and rearranging our reservation and transportation from the airport on the fly when our stay was delayed due to an airline issues.
