Pros:

Location is great and quiet , half way between city center and Glasgow Uni. Rooms are clean, but carpets are tired. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Shower had a leaky ceiling, but barely noticeable

Pros:

Ok for a one off and one night. But wouldn't visit again.
I had an idea why.
But never have I been asked after given the keys, they take the keys back off you quick enough in and about through passing.
She was quick enough to pounce on us as we left to explore.
The young girl receptionist was informative but not the best greeting giving the smokers more amenities to smoke right in our face barely out of the hotel entrance when you arrive.
At night, had to ask this man three times for my key back.
Ok a decent sized room, got lucky.
Very old looking setting and bathroom. Not overly clean and all cracked.
Floor in room tattered but ample size of floor.
Got lucky with the parking and scratchcard option outside only one space left.
Breakfast not bad.
Good location for local activities and entertainment.

Pros:

I was very happy with my stay, stayed last year but enjoyed my stay much more this time, yes the hotel does need improvement in some areas but on the whole for the price I paid you certainly can’t grumble and would very much stay there again, the breakfast was superb, found the staff very helpful and friendly.

Nice place, but top of a hill.
Pros:

Nice Art Deco style hotel on the edge of all the busy shopping and eating areas. Room was large and well stocked. Bed was a little hard, but that's a personal choice. Staff were lovely, very helpful and polite. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Bathroom was a bit tired, cracked loose tile on the floor and wobbly tap, but everything worked and was spotless.
The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill, with steep steps up to the door. But if you are ok walking, don't let that put you off. It's also only a two minute walk from the tour bus stop ( stop number21) on Sauchiehall St.

Resonably priced basic accomodation
Pros:

A basic bedroom but good Wifi.Resonably priced close to the city centre
Very good brealkfast .
Not suitable for handicapped as in a hilly part of city . Access to the hotel is up approximately 30 steps . Bedrooms spread over 3 floors with no lifts.
Car parking will be difficult in a tighly packed congested area..

Pros:

Nice cheap hotel, more B&B with a 24 hour reception, room very comfortable and facilities good, bathroom facilities not so much but can’t complain too much for the money in a major city centre

Basic, comfy but not for those with disabilities
Pros:

The room was very clean and presentable, same with the bathroom. The bed was comfy but a tad squeaky and the covers could have done with being a bit thicker.
Breakfast was also really good however it was a limited selection of items, I don't know if this was because it was a sunday or if this is the normal variety.
The hotel isn't the most accessible as to get into it you are up 2/3 flights of stairs. There is a very steep hill to the hotel but it can be avoided by walking a slightly longer route. Our room was also up stairs although they appeared to have rooms on the ground floor but again the stairs into the building mean it's not accessible.

Nice hotel close to city centre
Pros:

I was not in the hotel very much during my stay and it worked out fine to have a comfortable place to sleep at night and a good breakfast each morning.
Many thanks, yes, I would stay there again.

Pros:

Great hotel within walking distance of town and the bus station.
Room was clean and tidy and bed was very comfortable.
Breakfasts were delicious with a good variety of options.
Only down side is the lack of soundproofing, so if you're unlucky enough to get a noisy neighbour you will know about it.

Fine, but not amazing - good value.
Pros:

The place was nice and the location good, but the mattress was a bit tired, and the breakfast wasn't the best. Good enough for the price certainly, but probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way to stay at again.

Pros:

Room was dirty, bathroom was unsanitary. Shower walls had mold & mildew, ceiling leak, floor tiles cracked and uneven. Front desk said they would clean bathroom that day but never did. Window curtains ripped, paint peeling from window frames. We only stayed 2 nites out of four hotel kept all our prepaid money would not refund. Glasgow is a great city with many nice hotels. Don't waste your money on this one. I have photos but I think you get the picture.

Very disappointing hotel, poor value for money
Pros:

The hotel was the most extensive I have ever stayed in so I expected at least that it was comfortable and had good facilities and possibly a view. It was difficult to access including with lots of steps to the entrance as well as up a steep hill. The entrance was cramped and in need of refurbishment as was the room. The bathroom was in a poor state of repair with mould on the walls and decor that should have been updated years before. There was soap provided but no other toiletries. The bed was lumpy and the base threadbare and looked as if it had been bought from a second hand shop. It was cramped and looked out on a basement area. The breakfast was fine and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
