It would have been helpful to know the receptuon location is on the second floor of Union Station.

Conveniently located, right at the Bus Station, Railway Station and the Mall. Paid parking is at walkable distance.

No gym
Friendly staff and handy that you can leave luggage before check in and after checking out. Comfy bed and good breakfast. Location is great for bus and train station and for shopping and venues including the Music Hall, theatre and Maritime Museum as well as for catching ferry.
I've visited this hotel over many years and try to use the stairs instead of the lift. However, I always feel the stairs could do with a good scrub!
Location was convenient to rail station. And breakfast was good.
Nothing we can think of
Rooms are nice - we upgraded and worth it. Staff are lovely and overall vibe is good, location is great for shops and restaurants and so close to taxi rank.
Brekkie is quite basic and expensive for whats available. Staff do top it all up, its just quite simple. The bar area could do with some modernising, looking tired now in comparison to our first visit in 2017.
