The location was great. Close to the highway and lots of restaurants.

My room was not very clean. Tables were not wiped down, stuff left in the refrigerator, and the blankets didnt smell too good.

Overall it was decent. It was close to the interstate.

The staff was very pleasant. The place was clean. The bed was comfortable.

While they have things like a coffee maker and fridge there were no napkins or paper towels to clean up with if you made a mess.

Pros:

We spent one night at the Hilton Garden Inn in Wilkes Barre. It had everything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. It was located just a few blocks off the highway. The breakfast (extra cost) was a combination of made to order along with cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, etc and was a great way to start the day. It was more expensive than others, but after a bad roadside hotel experience a couple of years ago, this was a breath of fresh air and worth the added expense.
