ParkCity Everly Hotel Miri

I have arrived Bintulu for a long weekend this week.
Now staying at the Park City Everly Hotel. What a lovely Hotel. The lobby has a very nice ambience, neat and clean.
Room is very well furnished, the old fashioned way. Good furnishing and quality. Comfortable beds. Nice warm quilt to keep oneself comfortable and combat the cold aircon.
The Restaurant staff are really something special. I was just lamenting about my diet and the serving staff responded by making the kitchen to cook something suitable for me ! And it was tasty too. Well done. I really appreciate that.
Looking forward to the next few days here.

the airconditioning is very bad & the room is so hot like suana

Stayed from 4 till 6 Nov 2018 . This hotel really need renovation. Seriously need maintenance . Sink cant drain water , bath tub also block! What i hate the most is : Aircond problem . Slept in sweat! 1st day , i complain bout it , they came and fix . Bout hours later , nothing improve . I just gave up!
During my stays, second night. . I can’t sleep! Kids in the next room keep kicking the wall , make noise. Yes , kids do makes noise . But not at late night please . Annoyed!
Lost my glasses before check out . I left it at front of the lift ( table ) . Tried to get it back after 10 minutes . can’t believe, in 10 minutes people just grab / stole it ! Front staffs help me to check walk way , but there’s no cctv . PLEASE people, DONT ever take something dats not yours. Shame on you , thief ! I hope every-time you wearing my Glasses u remember dat you stole it from me !

He was clear that the building is getting torn down next year, because they no longer maintain it. It would need a lot of TLC if they planned to keep it open

Run down hotel, poor service no real food service and no internet.

i love the place...every staff are friendly. my room was upgrade to sea view...

Room.facilities so bad...hair dryed and door light no fuctioning. Bathroom water not good..

Quiet place. Good for rest and relax

Good staff, good facilities, a pleasant stay.

Huge beds, good bathroom and right on the beach.

Food is better than average Asian fare.

Better than the Marriott next door!

Would stay again, gladly.

The end-of-corridor suites are spacious and with multiple balconies.

Unable to access beach at night, no lounge to have a beer.

Well hotel in level 3 ok, but level 7 aircon not cold and changed room on the spot..
Breakfast is just ala cart (Not buffet as per photos)
What a disappointed breakfast..

It is was lovely. We love everything except the room carpet have a smell already like smell of old place.

What can I say. It is just an awful experience for me and my family. 4 rooms and all had the same problem! Air conditioning? Just hope that you get some sort of air coming! If not then get a portable fan. That’s what they give to one of our rooms!

The whole hotel is just an embarrassment. Rooms are old, carpets smells, furniture are dirty, linen stained! There was even a used plaster with blood stuck on the room telephone! What a transformation from the old majestic brand name, Holiday Inn to it’s current state. One star? Is there such a ting as half a star?

To the owners and management, you are luck to even have some guests there I suppose. Until I hear there is some sort of maintenance and repairs done, I don’t think I want to waste another rm$300 we paid for the night.

Poor air-cond..after changing the room..air-cond still poor,but better than 1st room which totally not cold at all.

I BOOKED SEAVIEW ROOM, BUT INSTEAD THEY GAVE ME TREE VIEW..SEAVIEW WAS HARD TO SEE.. HAVE TO CHANGE ROOM AS I SHOULD GET WHAT I HAVE PAID FOR. MY NEW ROOM HAS NO LIGHTS.. ONLY THE TABLE LAMP AND TOILET HAVE LIGHT.. AIRCOND WAS HORRIBLE. HOUSEKEEPING WAS LAZY..THEY DID NOT CLEAN THE ROOM, THEY JUST GIVE US NEW TOWEL AND VACCUM THE FLOOR. TOILET, TABLES AND BEDS WERE NOT MAKEUP AND CLEAN AT ALL. MORNING BREAKFAST WAS OKAY..BUT THE TIME LIMIT IS SO UNREASONABLE ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU TRAVEL WITH KIDS, YOU JUST CANNOT ENJOY THE BREAKFAST BCOZ OF RUSHING AT THE SAME TIME TRYING TO FEED YOUR KIDS TOO.
SWIMMING POOL WAS DIRTY TOO..

I just wish have a good 1 day stay with my partner, however this hotel really make me disappointed. The good thing is there they upgraded me to seaview, however the disappointed feeling has overwhelmed us. Room is slightly dirty, odour for pillow and towel, aircond is not cold at all, for the 1st time i have to sleep topless at hotel. Gym equipment is very old, swimming pool is very dirty where I saw nuts, cable tie and worse a 10cm centipede corpse in the pool. Seriously this hotel require total refurbishment. When i checked out, I heard the front desk told one of the guest that Boulevard mall is the biggest in Miri, I was so surprise as that statement was so misleading. It can be Bintang Mall or Imperial Mall but definitely not Boulevard.

I only spent one night here. The staff are very friendly. They even upgraded our room to seaview! lol. other than that, It was near to restaurants and bars. room are very clean and spacious. Would love to come back again

We stayed for 2 nights and regretted ever minute of it. The room smells, aircon not cool, bathroom have stains and mould, ants on the night table and dust can be clearly seen on the glass shelf, lamp shade broken, toilet not flushing, etc
